Principal’s Message
Dear Members of Vimukti Family,
Greetings after a long time! We apologise for not writing to you since April. We
have been busy with the shifting of our campus to a rented space and it has taken
all of us some time to adjust to our new surroundings. But we were really touched
by the concern shown by many of you when we could not send out the monthly
updates in the form of our newsletters. We are happy to know that many of you
eagerly await these updates.
Campus shifting took place in May & June. July & August were spent getting
used to the new place. But believe me, our enthusiasm & resolve to brighten the
lives of disadvantaged girls has only increased by the day. I invite you all to visit
us in our new campus.
We had to prepone the summer holidays due to Government orders on account of
extreme heat in May and we reopened on June 22nd in the new campus. The VGS
staff worked tirelessly during this period to complete the shifting process. I thank
all of them for their hard work and sincerity, it is due to their efforts that this
mammoth task could be completed.
Due to the increased costs on account of rentals and higher transport costs,
Vimukti's Board has decided to increase the annual sponsorship per student to Rs
12,000 (earlier it was Rs 10,000). We hope you will understand and appreciate
the reasons for doing so and continue to support us in our mission of educating
girls from the most vulnerable backgrounds.

Annual rental per student-Rs 1600
Cost of providing uniform / shoes set to one

one student-Rs 1000
Monthly transport cost of one student-Rs 300
