Dear all, Greetings! The Editorial Board of Instrumentation and Control Engineering Department wishes all a very Happy New Year. Transition is a process that always seems like an arduous and difficult task but can very well turn out to be blissful once endured in the right manner. One could easily say that the most important transition for any student is that crucial change from school to college. A time in life filled with that pure excitement to join college and make friends, but also along with the anxiety and stress of facing new challenges and scenarios. The editorial board of Instrumentation department welcomes all for another year filled with joy and happiness. The department offers infinite opportunities not just to mould oneself as a tech – perceptive engineer who can build stuff and move mountains, but more importantly to also chisel a well-rounded human being with eye for finer details, compassionate emotions or even social etiquette and conflicts. While academics would play an important role in deciding the future of one’s career, keep in mind that it is equally important to cherish the lighter moments. As they say, “The destination matters, but the journey matters even more.” So take a tour around the department, explore new possibilities and get to know new people.
