BackCast on 54 (60, 66, 72, 78) stitches on a 5 mm (US 8) needle.Start with a purl row and knit a total of 4 rows of stockinette stitches

Switch to a size 10 (6 mm) needle and knit honeycomb brioche:Note first and last sts are edge stitches.1st row, wrong side: k1, *yo, slip 1 st pw, k1*, repeat from * - * until you’ve got 1 st left, k1.2nd row, right side: k1, *k2, slip the yo (from previous row) pw*, repeat from * - * untilyou’ve got 1 st left, k1.3rd row, wrong side: k1, *knit the yo and the st tog, yo, slip 1 st pw, repeat from * - * untilyou’ve got 1 st left, k1.4th row, right side: *k2, slip the yo (from previous row) pw*, repeat from * - * until you’vegot 2 sts left, k2.5th row, wrong side: k1, *yo, slip 1 st pw, knit the yo and the st tog*, repeat from * - * untilyou’ve got 1 st left, k1.Repeat rows 2-5.Knit honeycomb brioche stitch until the work measures 19.7” (20.1”, 20.5”. 20.9”, 21.3”) or 50(51, 52, 53, 54) cm.Bind off.

Increases*Knit 1, inc 1 (pick up st between sts and knit tbl), knit pattern until you’ve got 1 st left, inc 1,k1 = 2 sts inc. These new sts are included in the pattern.Knit until the work measures 2” (5 cm) from last inc*.Repeat from * - * until you’ve increased 6 times = 44 (46, 48, 50, 52) sts.Work even until the sleeve measures approx. 16½” (42 cm) or desired length.Bind off.Knit the other sleeve alike.

Assembling and neckbandSew up left shoulder.From the right side, knit up approx. 80-100 sts in the neckline using a size 8 (5 mm) needle.Knit 3 rows of stockinette st. Bind off loosely from the right side.Sew up the other shoulder and the neckband.

Place a marker in the center of the bind off on the sleeve. Place a marker 7” (7½”, 7.9”, 8.3”,8.7” or 18 (19, 20, 21, 22) cm down from the middle of the shoulder. Attach the sleevebetween the marks.Sew sleeve- and side seams together.
