Students will be able to use properties of exponents and radicals, and provide answer in the same format as presented (7.2) 3. Students will be able to simplify algebraic expressions with rational exponents (7.2) 4. Students will be able to simplify algebraic expressions with radicals (7.2) 5. Students will be able to graph square root and cube root functions and describe the transformation from the parent function. Students will be able to perform horizontal and vertical shifts, in addition to flipping over the x-axis (none over the y-axis) (7.5) 6. Students will be able to convert from/to degrees to/from radians (13.2) 19. Students will be able to find the value of the six trigonometric functions (sine, cosine, tangent, cosine, cosecant, cotangent) given an angle measure on the unit circle (13.3) (unit circle will be given to students for the final) 20. Students will be able to find the value of the remaining trigonometric functions given the quadrant of the angle and the ratio of one trigonometric function (13.3) (questions regarding degrees will be 0-360) 21. Students will be able to graph sine and cosine functions and describe (14.1) (not tangent graphs) a. The amplitude b. The period 22. Students will be able to model real-world situations using sine and cosine functions (Chapter 13 numerous sections) 23. Students will use the Law of Sines and the Law of Cosines to find missing measurements of a triangle (13.5 & 13.6) (no ambiguous cases)
