Procedure:Meeting started Start with the name of Allah the most

beneficent the most merciful. In this orientation meeting LHSs, religious readers, UC secretaries, members from CSOs, health officials are participated there. Very person introduced themselves.

After that Mr. Zahid Zahoor Executive Director Roshni organization facilitate the meeting and told the objectives and theme of Shirkat Gah regarding DCG. Every one show commitment to fulfill Multan address to LHSs, religious readers, UC secretaries and youth group about DCG (District Core Group). He said that the purpose of this group is to increase the ratio of birth registration and Nikah registration. And also ensure the inheritance and rites of women. Basically DCG Group consists of twelve members. The names of these members are as mention above.

In this orientation UC 53 Secretary Abbas Anwar Ansari said that if we have not proper documents about registration we are face many difficulties and hurdles. Those people that are not register their child in union council they are criminal in the sight of Government .He suggest that if Nadra hold all activities about Birth registration. He also said That If a Gusted Officer verify the Identity from a person to submit in Nadra, then why this Gusted officer did not verify Birth registration of a child. After that Hafiz Anwar Husain said Secretary of Union council concession the registration fees. So that the community easily register their child. If they are late for registration of their child than the late registration fee under their fixed income. He also said that about Nikah Registration. There are lots of difficulties in Nikah registration. People are Unaware about the process of local government and family laws. And some males do not register their Nikah consciously in union council and some where Nikah registrar do not deposit the officially fees in the greed of money, and Nikah is UN registered. Women have to face the consequences of this greed. In unfavorable circumstances women have to go in courts for many times. They are unable to prove their Nikah. At end the meeting we thanked all the participants.

Procedure/process:

Meeting start with the recitation of the Holy Quran. LHWs, LHSs, Doctor Masood (member DCG) and Abbas Anwar Ansari sectary of UC 53 (member DCG) are participated there.

They introduced themselves. After that Mr. Zahid Zahoor Executive Director Roshni organization Multan address to LHWs and LHSs about the birth registration and Nikah registration.

There are lots of difficulties in Birth registration. People are UN aware about the process of local government. The Government did not planned any awareness program for improve the ratio of birth registration. That is why family planning had distressed. Due to non birth registration not only children but also whole nation had to paid the cost of it. The main reason of UN birth registration of the children is illiteracy, greed of money, lake of education, carelessness, foolishness and also tough procedures of NADRA. People are UN aware about the registration. That is why they had to face difficulties and UN favorable circumstances about the birth registration. In this scenario Roshni organization Multan with the collaboration of shirkat Gah Lahore planes to enhance the ratio of birth registration ensure the rights of children. For this purpose both organization formed DCG consisting on social activities, health officials, religious readers and representative of local government and community. This DCG will carry out the all activities which will support the issue at union council level. Health workers will play pivot role to achieve the target and media will key stake holder of this program.

They introduced themselves. After that Mr. Zahid Zahoor Executive Director Roshni organization Multan address to LHWs and LHSs about the birth registration and Nikah registration. According to the statistics of government in Pakistan the population of Pakistan is 18 cores 73 million. Therefore according to a survey the population has been increase more than 20 cores. As how, the population of Multan according to the statistics of government is 37 million. It is the rough estimate that population of Multan is near about 50 million. Its means that 13 million populations are UN registered.

Government planed the developing projects and provision facilities according to the population that is why civic services are insufficient. Not only in rural areas but also in urban areas small numbers of people were not registered the birth registration. That is why family planning had disturbed. Owing to non birth registration not only children but also whole nation had to face the consequences of it. The major reasons of the low rate of birth registration in union council are lack of knowledge, illiteracy, and lazyness, and carelessness, lake of awareness and difficult process of union council. If parents are not registered their child registration with in 2 months NADRA has been introduced tough procedure of it. Then it is impossible to register their child.

Neither the people would get benefit nor the children get their identity. The society would disturb due to these elements. The women rites will violate and women had to face this carelessness. Hafeeza recites some verses of the Holy Quran. LHWs, LHSs, LHV, Midwife and all members participated with the D.C.G Group. first of all they introduced themselves.

Mr.Shahbaz Bhatti from health department, (Member of DCG) also participate this meeting, he address to LHW’s and aware them about the birth registration .And asked them to convince the community to improve the ratio of birth registration.

After that Mr. Farooq Iqbal CSO Multan told about the birth registration and Nikah registration. Member of DCG Farooq Iqbal told the LHWs that there are a lot of difficulties in the birth registration and Nikah registration. When the people don’t register the birth of their children in UC or late registered. They have to face many problems in all field of life. The government makes the future plan according to the Population.

When the total population is not registered then the future plan will be failed from the government and our next generation will faced the many problems. This is our responsibility that we must give the awareness to the people about the birth registration and Nikah registration. Although it’s very difficult but not imposable.We are very thanks full to all the participant that all give us the time and we hope you will transfer our massage to whole community.

After that Mr. Farooq Iqbal Member of Core Group Multan address to religious readers about birth and Nikah registration. There are lots of difficulties in Nikah registration. People are unaware about the process of local government and family laws. And some males do not register their Nikah consciously in union council and some where Nikah registrar do not deposit the officially fees in the greed of money, and Nikah will unregistered.

Women have to face the consequences of this greed. In unfavorable circumstances women have to go in courts for many times. They are unable to prove their Nikah. And they do not get their rightes. In one of them a religious reader Samar Iqbal asked a question that we register the Nikah in our register it does not registered. How it is not register. Farooq Iqbal answer the question of him that if you are not register the Nikah in union council. This Nikah Is not register. It does not prove in the sight of laws. It must be register in union council. The marriage of the girl must be held after 16 years. If the marriage of the girl held before 16 years old it is crime in the sight of law. The health of the girl is badly affected and she is not strong her are powerless. Your duty is to convince the people about registration.

Holy Quran. Hafiz Gulam Mustafa recites some verses of the Holy Quran. In this meeting Secretary of UC 53 are participated. After that Farooq Iqbal member of address to the UC secretaries about birth registration and Nikah registration and also about the early marriage of a girl. UC Secretary Abbas Anwar Ansari said that did not marriage of the girls in early age, no doubt girl become mature. And did not marriage before 16 years old if her health is not strong and powerless. That is why family planning had disturbed. Owing to non birth registration not only children but also whole nation had to face the consequences of it.

A reporter asked a question that what DCG is. A CSO (Member) Hafiz Anwar Hussain Malik give the answer to him that DCG stands for (District Core Group).

District Core Group organized before two months ago. The purpose to make this group is to ensure the ratio of birth registration or Nikah registration. For this purpose many programs are organized, owing to people are aware about it. In the beginning we select to union council that are 52, 53 for this purpose. In both union council we create awareness in the local community through theater performance.

By this awareness sessions we look many changes in the community. The ratio of birth and Nikah registration were improved. Now we need to organize the awareness session in union councils together.

Objectives: Create Awareness among community to enhance ratio of

Proceeding:Program was formally started with the recitation of the holy Quran. Quari Muneer recited some verses from holy Quran.Then Shahbaz Bhatti member DCG came on the stage and thanked the community people for coming in the program. He also explained the objectives of the programme. He said today we gathered here for the better and secure future. Many acts show result at once and many acts show the result after long time. Child birth registration and Nikah registration is one of them.

Some people not registered their children for ever and they need never. They think it is just waste of time and money. But majority need the prove of birth registration or Nikah registration. There are many cases where people are unable to prove their identity and relationship. Now a day there is terrorism every where, every one should have to ID card. We can get this card until we are registered. He also explained the theme of the play. He told them that DCG is working in two union councils of Multan district. Mr. Zahid Zahoor community representative social worker also share their view with the audience Executive Director Roshni organization Multan told the people about importance of Birth registration and Nikah registration.He said when people did not register the birth registration in union council. They had to face many problems and lot of difficulties when they admission in school. Today we are conducting street theater the purpose of this event is to explain the Birth and Nikah registration massages, objectives and aims in a proper manner.

After that Mumtaz Bagum Member DCG told about the consequences of birth registration she said that those people did not register the birth registration of their child. They face difficulties and unfavorable circumstances. They did not get “B” form of UC or NADRA. She said during visit in community people told us the problems. They said when we go to union council for registration secretaries’ charges huge amount for registration. Then Shabaz Bhatti again came to stage and said now we are presenting a play. The theme of the play is importance of birth as well as Nikah registration. Who are not cares about the registration at the end they have to bear lose. “Story of Birth and Nikah registration” Aika Theater Group performed the play on stage. The main theme of the play was. One person second marriage with out permission of his first wife. He did not registered Nikah in union council. After one year his son born and he again not registered in union council. Unfortunately he died and his second wife went to union council for getting proved but there was not any proof. He requested People that they should watch the play attentively and also inform and give awareness to the people of their area what they learn from the play. After that he requested the stage performers group to come and perform the play. They started performing the play.

There were men who have two wives. First arrange marriage, second love marriage. One of them she wants to admission her child in school but could not admit her child because she had not birth certificate of her child. Due to this she had to face many problems. After that her husband died. Both wives were standing to get the property of their husband. First wife have Nikah Nama but second wife have not Nikah Nama and have not any proof of her marriage. Due to this she lost her husband inheritance. All people appreciated the actors and clapped for them. In the end, our team members distributed the refreshment packets.
