Work experience Budden has more than 25 years of health care experience. She has held various

executive management positions that have enabled her to create products and

services that provide individuals with access to health care while keeping it

affordable. She has led several key initiatives for two of Michigan’s largest health

plans and has a passion for enhancing the consumer experience, driving corporate

strategy and driving overall performance for commercial, individual and government

markets.

Community involvementBudden is “bi-coastal” in Michigan and is committed to supporting communities on

both sides of the state. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the

Grand Rapids YMCA, Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce, Michigan Women’s

Foundation, Fredrick Meijer Gardens, Experience GR and Independent Bank

Corporation. She is also a former board member of the Children’s Center in Detroit.
