PHINMA’s brand of excellence has been creating waves in the business sector for the past 56 years; the vision of three optimistic gentlemen for the country is gradually building our destiny of being at par with the rest of the world. When the Group acquired Araullo University in 2004, Novo Ecijanos were given the opportunity to share the PHINMA dream, and make it real as well. Araullo University – PHINMA has come a long way from that humble class of 27 law students in 1950; the academe is now second home to around 5,800 potential nation-builders and global movers. As we step into our eighth year as the flagship of PHINMA Education Network’s scholastic voyage, along with University of Iloilo, Cagayan de Oro College, and University of Pangasinan, we are leaving Araullo’s controversial past behind and setting sail on to its true destination: To become number one in the province and the region. Shaping the Novo Ecijano youth into globally-competent professionals has always been AU-PHINMA’s guiding principle for the constant improvement of its curriculum and adoption of innovative teaching-learning methods. The high academic standards and rigorous training may be challenging, but it is guaranteed that Araullians will leave their alma mater equipped with skills and smarts that match the society’s demands. Currently, AU- PHINMA is preparing her children to be the leaders of the fields of business, education, information technology, engineering, health, and public service. Believing that every Filipino should have full access to quality education, the institution also offers a variety of scholarship grants and discounts for deserving, determined but financially disadvantaged students. We can take pride in our roster of scholar graduates who are now successful in their respective careers. As of present, a huge chunk of our population benefits from full scholarships with monthly stipends to ten percent tuition fee discounts. Moreover, AU-PHINMA further pushes its boundaries with its mentorship on students who willingly dedicate their ideals and talents for socio- political change. Aside from producing contenders for Ayala Young Leaders Congress and Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines, we are also including every other Araullian in the student leadership fold through day camps and related programs. These activities aim to foster unity among students and temper more potential nation-builders and global movers. Along with impressive passing rates, consistent academic and extra- curricular triumphs, and continuous community outreach efforts, we are still expanding our horizon as a university with the addition of certificate courses and the AU-PHINMA South Campus. Indeed, we are setting the PHINMA dream in motion. As we extend Hawak Kamay to the masses, we move forward to an era where studying in the province is no longer a cheaper alternative, but a primary choice to make our lives better.

Araullo University-PHINMA South Campus

AU-PHINMA goes SouthTrue to its promise of bringing affordable quality education closer to Filipinos, Araullo University – PHINMA, one of the leading universities in Nueva Ecija, is slated to open another campus within the province. The South Campus will be erected to cater to the students from the southern areas of the province like Cabiao and Gapan; as well as the provinces of Bulacan, Tarlac, and even as far as Pampanga, answering the clamor for accessible top-of-the-notch education in the said area.

Strategically located in Brgy. H. Concepcion Sr., along Maharlika Highway, the said campus will offer all the courses and degrees available in the Main Campus, with the exception of Basic Education, Graduate Studies, and Law. Students and enrollees will be given the option of studying in the Main Campus or in the South Campus, whichever is more convenient for them.

The groundbreaking ceremony for this milestone in PHINMA’s thrust in the education sector will be held on November 5, 2012. The aforementioned campus will have a total of 29 classrooms and accommodate an initial number of 500 students. The South Campus will start its operations June next school year.

AU-PHINMA gives away Discounts and ScholarshipsAraullo University-PHINMA is offering two-hundred (200) slots of PHINMA Scholarship for the coming second semester. The scholarship will provide a fifty-percent (50%) discount on tuition and miscellaneous fees and is open for incoming freshmen and transferees only; this will be valid for the grantees’ regular stay in the university and has no maintaining grade.

Also, AU-PHINMA is giving incentives to students who can recruit their friends, former classmates, and relatives to enrolling in the university. An incentive of Php500.00 per recruit enrolled will be given to all Power of One Promoters. The said incentive can be taken as cash, or credited to the tuition fee of the promoter.

With these programs, AU-PHINMA hopes to share the Araullian experience to your family and peers.

PEN’s new approach to educationOnce again exhibiting the PEN value of Innovativeness, PHINMA Education Network is slated to open new programs on Teacher Education, Business Administration, and Information Technology.

The Teacher Certificate program consists of eighteen (18) units in one semester, a requisite to take the Licensure Examination for Teachers. This program is conceptualized to allow graduates of four year courses to pursue a career in education.

The two other programs namely, BSBA and BSIT, are undergraduate degrees offered in modular format giving students the chance to earn their degrees while keeping pace with the demands of a busy life. There will be whole day sessions during weekends, freeing up the weekdays and enabling the students to take 18 units for every semester.

Also, Second-Coursers discount will also be made available for people who want to continue their study. This is especially helpful to employees or entrepreneurs who seek career advancement, or simply want to expand their knowledge and skills base.

With these efforts, PHINMA hopes to open up opportunities to people and create more professionals to bolster the country’s work force.
