WELCOME to the Autumn edition of News While You Booze. I hope you all had a great summer enjoying holidays, Wimbledon, the Euros, Olympics and Paralympics. Where did the time go? NOW the nights are drawing in we have included lots of things for you to get those brain cells working on our Just For Fun pages of this issue. It could also be your chance to win our competition. Just answer the simple question on the Member’s Page and you could win £25 cash! Also, many events have been organized for you to look forward to - see further details in this issue. WE will be taking part in the Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday 30th September so please come along and support this worthwhile charity and enjoy a slice of cake with your coffee or tea. I AM sure by now you all know there is a post box in the Member’s Bar so why not drop us a line to let us know what you would like to see in your Social Club? For instance if we held film nights (or matinees) or maybe a singalong evening, karaoke or afternoon teas, would you be interested? We want to hear from you as if we don’t know what you want how can we provide it? So please feel free to write any suggestions and we promise we will take them seriously and do our utmost to accommodate the most popular ones. It was a very successful event and the weather was kind! The children had lots of fun and enjoyed having their faces painted by Lisa.
