Distance: How do we measure length and width?

Distance is how far it is between two things. It could be how long, wide, or tall something is.

Accurate is how correct something is.

I recently opened a can of soda and noticed that it was not completely full. You may have noticed the same thing. I started wondering if the soda company was really giving me my money’s worth. The label on the can says 355 ml, but does that refer to the capacity of the can, or the volume of soda in the can?

How can we find out if 355ml is the can’s capacity (how much fits when the can is full) or how much soda they actually sell you (the volume of soda)?
