Attend local and regional ICSC events and trade shows in order to maintain retailer relationships and introduce new retailers to the Howard Hughes Specialty Leasing program. Organize and conduct a Retailer Opportunity Fair as needed. Leasing : Responsible for all aspects of visual merchandising. Oversee specialty leasing retailers and manage to HHC Operational Guidelines. Coordinate the set-up, relocation and breakdown of all temporary tenants and events. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Specialty Leasing Manager will direct the Specialty Leasing program at assigned property in order to achieve the center’s Specialty Leasing income goal and drive the development of new business.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leasing: Responsible for all aspects of visual merchandising. Oversee specialty leasing retailers and manage to HHC Operational Guidelines. Coordinate the set-up, relocation and breakdown of all temporary tenants and events. Collection of weekly/monthly sales reports and rent checks from all temporary merchants. Ongoing communication with permanent leasing agent(s) to ascertain space availability,

merchandise mix goals and incubation candidates.

Marketing: Prepare and distribute Specialty Leasing collateral materials to market program. Ensure that empty RMUs are merchandised to generate leasing activity. Work closely with the Marketing department to insure ongoing exposure of the Specialty

Leasing program in the mall’s marketing efforts including advertisements, in-mall signage, tabletop signage and directories.

Financial Reporting & Measurement Preparation of, and adherence to, an annual income and expense budget. Preparation of, and adherence to, a monthly and quarterly forecast. Monthly submission of tenant sales reports and prospecting report. Monthly monitoring of Specialty Leasing management fee billings. Preparation of Pro Formas and Capital Expense requests for new RMU purchases, as needed. Preparation of annual Goals and Objectives, mid-year and year-end self-reviews. Insure proper documentation and insurance requirements.

Merchant Relationships: Conduct regular meetings with temporary merchants to insure that both the tenant’s and HHC’s

business objectives are being met. Communicate new trends and products with merchants in order to grow current business or

expand to additional locations.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Minimum 3-5 years of specialty leasing experience Commercial Real Estate and/or Leasing experience preferred. Professional interaction with clients and vendors. Build positive working relationships with employees at all levels within the organization. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Exercise sound judgment when making decisions. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize. Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment. Detail Oriented. Proven Time Management skills. Positive "can do" attitude. Highly proficient in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
