    - First found in the Image Accumulator (a piece of

    military hardware that gave the test subjects

    hallucinations, reality warping abilities and

    eventually brain tumors.).- Invented by Dr OBlivion, misused by his

    associates in a crypto-government conspiracy.

    - Introduced to Renn by Harlan through a fakepirate broadcast of an eponymous ultra-violent

    snuff TV show.

    the signal under a snuff TV show would ensurethat only people of questionable moral valueswould be exposed to it.
