Introduction

• Domino.Doc is the Document Management System product from IBM

• Lotus Notes client is the mail client of Lotus.• ViciDocs has components which can integrate

with the Domino.Doc and Lotus Notes systems to provide value addition in the form of supporting scanning of paper based documents.

• ViciDocs Email Safe can also be integrated into Lotus Notes client to enable the storage of emails from Notes client directly into ViciDocs with powerful search and retrieval capabilities.

EmailSafe

EmailSafe is the component integrated into Notes Mail client for enabling storage and retrieval of emails with a seamless interface.

EmailSafe - Features

• Storage of Emails with mail body, mail header and attachments.

• Support for popular mail clients like Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Lotus Notes client etc.,

• Manual and Automatic storage of emails with user configurable options for replicating the folder structure and frequency of uploads.

• Full Text indexing of body and attachments as well.

• Metadata indexing of mail header.• Retrieval of emails through mail client as well

as through the browser.

Results

• Results screen displays the results with the mail header

• Double clicking on a mail opens the mail in the corresponding mail client’s interface.
