Vibrant Gujarat Grand Challenge 2018

To keeping the ‘Startup Movement’ going, Government of Gujarat hosted a three-day event full of experiential learning and networking for start-ups and aspiring entrepreneurs. This event was organised as a forerunner to the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in January 2019. Designed as a platform for innovators and entrepreneurs from across the world to meet and interact, the event included a notable line of expert speakers addressing on a range of challenges and doubts related to entrepreneurship. What’s more, this year the focus is on technology as a catalyst to entrepreneurship. The rapid advancement of technology along with policies such as the ‘smart cities’ initiative has paved way for the young generation to innovate and take charge leading to a startup revolution. Apart from this, in order to take a step forward in the process of incentivising upcoming startups, a selected few startups got the chance to pitch their business plan to the investors present at the event. The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat inaugurated the summit in the presence of other dignitaries from the Government, Business Leaders, Economists, Academicians, Policymakers and Industry Stalwarts.

There were three categories under which The Grand Challenge was held. Idea stage, Blooming stage and Scale-up stage. There were winners selected in each category in which a Start-up named “Paralino” which is incubated under Aarambh Cell,SSIP, Gujarat got an Incentive in Idea Stage and a Prize money worth 10,000Rs. Idea was “Automated Solar Panel Cleaning System”. Team members of Paralino are :
