general information1

AT THIS STAGE, THE TEST PRESSURE MUST BE 0 BARHOLD THE QUICK CONNECTOR BY THE BACK BODY OR BY THE HOSE

SHUT-OFF VALVE IS CLOSED

1 Push the quick connector towards the nipple to be connected till the sleeve snaps forward.

2 The connector is correctly connected only if the outer sleeve releases the safety sphere from its housing.

CONNECTOR CORRECTLYCONNECTED

3 Rotate the sleeve by a few degrees until the safety sphere is no longer aligned with its housing; if the sleeve is free to rotate, this means that the connection is complete and secure.

7 Remove the worn gasket by gently levering it with a flathead screwdriver. Insert the new gasket in its housing.

Disconnection phase Routine maintenance43

It is recommended to fix the hose with a safety cable of appropriate resistance in order to avoid the projection of the quick connector in case of accidental disconnection.

- Recommended frequency: 6 months.- Place the quick connector in a bowl containing a soap and water solution. - Leave the connector soaked for about 30 minutes. - Pull out the quick connector and rinse it with running water. - Blow the quick connector with a compressed air jet. - Check that the shutter and the sleeve are free to move.
