    1223 CLUB NEWS

Another winter season has come to pass, with just a few decent snow falls

all was pretty calm this year. I only had to bring the snow blower out once

this year, and you will not hear me complain about that one bit.

The Men's Auxiliary had the pleasure of helping out with bingo at the VA

on the 16th of February along with the some of the Junior Girls and the

ladies Auxiliary. I would have to say it was a pleasure to help and look

forward to helping out in the future.

I would like to thank everyone for coming out to our pancake breakfasts,

with each passing month our numbers continue to grow. We are hoping to

return to the numbers we once had, but are still more than happy with how

many people we are serving. Please pass the word onto your friends and

neighbors. This money is used to support local programs. As a reminder

our pancake breakfasts are always the 3rd Saturday of the month, 8AM to

11AM. The cost is $5 a plate, 2nds are free, and children 5 and under free.

The Men's Auxiliary is once again hosting the Cowboy Up Kick Off. The

event will be on May 5th. We work with the Cowboy Up Committee in

running this all day event. Breakfast is served from 8am to 11am with the

silent auction running throughout the day. We will be serving pulled pork

sandwiches, pasta salad and chips for dinner, starting at 4 and serving till

7:30. We have Karaoke to follow that evening, 8:00 till midnight. All the

money raised at this event goes to the Roger Maris Cancer Center. I hope to

see everyone down for the day and enjoy the auction, food, and

    entertainment.

I wish everyone a happy and dry spring season

Step up to serve our Veterans!
