Do not combine IFR and VFR route segments on the same line.

BLOCK 8 – ALTITUDE: For IFR/VFR flight enter the initial cruising altitude/Flight Level in hundreds of feet (e.g. enter 6000 as “60”.)

For IFR/VFR-on-top, enter “OTP” and an altitude if so desired (e.g. “OTP 65”).

If a subsequent enroute altitude change(s) is planned, enter the requested altitude/Flight Level and location of the change in the REMARKS.

If an altitude block is desired, enter the lower altitude of the requested block, the letter “B”, and the top of the block (e.g. 80B10).
