Join us for a Veterans luncheon in the Library Meeting Room at 12PM followed by a brief recognition ceremony. The Blue Island Public Library gratefully acknowledges and appreciates the work of the Friends of the Library on this project.

    CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE Saturday, December 2nd. Our Annual Open House will celebrate Christmas on the (Blue) Island with a performance by Aloha Chicago.   • Costume Craft: GauntletNov. 16th , 6-7PM. Following the discus-sion of Karuna Riazi’s new novel The Gauntlet in the Children’s Department, we’ll be making steampunk gauntlets of our very own, using cardboard and duct tape. Space Limited to 15 participants.
