Queridos feligreses,
¡Que Dios te conceda todas las bendiciones
del tiempo pascual!
¡A todos los que trabajaron con tanta devo-
ción y cuidado para que las liturgias de la
Semana Santa se celebren con amor divino,
gracias! Sin duda, nuestro Señor te bendeci-
rá por los muchos sacrificios que haces pa-
ra su gloria y honor.
De enero a junio de 2018, nuestra parro-
quia participó en la fase piloto de la Campa-
ña Encuentro con Cristo. El propósito de
este importante esfuerzo diocesano es pro-
porcionar recursos financieros a largo plazo
que fortalezcan el ministerio de la Diócesis
de Austin que es responsabilidad de nues-
tro Obispo Joe Vásquez. La meta de nuestra
parroquia es de $ 1,710,000. El objetivo de
la parroquia se calcula como 130% de la
colección de ofrendas del año fiscal de
2016. Durante la fase piloto, pudimos re-
caudar $ 583,325 que representan aproxi-
madamente 1/3 de nuestro objetivo. Desde la fase piloto,
dos oleadas de parroquias en la Diócesis han participado en
la campaña. En julio de este año, 2019 comenzará la terce-
ra y última ola. Estamos listos para participar en esta tercera
ola para recaudar la cantidad restante de $ 1,126,675 para
lograr nuestra meta parroquial. El 30% de la cantidad recau-
dada se devuelve a la parroquia: $ 510,000 para nuestra
meta. Esta cantidad nos permitirá realizar proyectos parro-
quiales muy necesarios: la renovación de los bancos en la
iglesia, las nuevas unidades de aire acondicionado y la re-
ducción de nuestra deuda. Si una parroquia supera la meta,
entonces el 70% se devuelve a la parroquia.
Para esta campaña y esfuerzo importante para tener éxito
en nuestra parroquia, estoy pidiendo ayuda. Si estás dis-
puesto a ayudar, por favor contáctame. Podemos juntar un
equipo de trabajadores dedicados para que con la ayuda de
Dios podamos completar exitosamente la Campaña Encuen-

Dear Parishioners,
May God grant you all the blessings of the
Easter season!
To everyone who worked with such devo-
tion and care so that the liturgies of Holy
Week could be celebrated with divine love,
thank you! Surely Our Lord will bless you
for the many sacrifices you make for His
glory and honor.
From January to June of 2018 our parish
participated in the pilot phase of the En-
countering Christ Campaign. The purpose
of this important diocesan wide effort is to
provide long-term financial resources that
will strengthen the ministry of the Diocese
of Austin that is the responsibility of our
Bishop Joe Vasquez. Our parish goal is
$1,710,000. The parish goal is calculated
as130% of the offertory collection from
the fiscal year of 2016. During the pilot
phase we were able to raise $583,325
amounting to approximately 1/3 of our
goal. Since the pilot phase, two waves of parishes in the
Diocese have participated in the campaign. In July of this
year, 2019 the third and final wave will begin. We are set
to participate in this third wave to raise the remaining
amount of $1,126,675 to accomplish our parish goal. 30%
of the amount that is raised is returned to the parish:
$510,000 for our goal. This amount will allow us to ac-
complish much needed parish projects: refurbishment of
the pews in the church, new air conditioning units and re-
duction of our debt. If a parish surpasses the goal, then
70% is returned to the parish.
For this campaign and important effort to be successful for
our parish, I am asking for help. If you are willing to help,
please contact me. We can put together a team of dedi-
cated workers so that with God’s help we can successfully
complete the Encountering Christ Campaign for our parish.

NOTICE: 1st HOLY COMMUNION PRACTICE will be held on May 3rd. For English the practice will be held from 6
to 7pm in the Church.
For Spanish the practice will be held from 7pm to 8pm in the Church.
1st HOLY COMMUNION MASSES will be held on May 4th. For English the Mass will be at
10:00am. For Spanish the Mass will be at 1:00pm.
Please have the children at Deane Hall 30 minutes before the Mass. We will be taking
the children, to church, in procession 10 minutes before the Mass.
