About the Conference:
Our modern society is nowadays, driven by a culture of violence & materialism, due to this,the whole of human life is in a state of turmoil. Our world is divided disharmoniously; it is torn by social conflicts of different nations, groups of people and religious classes, therefore it is unsustainable. Human peace & spiritual values are decreasing at a very fast rate, resulting in the deterioration of humanity.
In an increasingly globalized Asia, the economic, industrial and political developments among the nations that are located within the continent have brought about drastic social change.
Human values are eroding at a very fast rate resulting in declining the quality of life. The root cause of all these new evils is the impurities and imbalance of minds by a rapid development of science and technology which has given us materialistic comforts and done nothing at psychological and social level.
At the dawn of the new millennium, the ‘Global Education for Peace, harmony and holistic sustainable development’ is required and as well as the development of Global Citizens.’
Army Institute of Education (AIE), Greater Noida, India is organizing a conference entitled “Global Education for Peace, Harmony and Development” (GE-PHD 2017) through a joint partnership with Global Harmony Association (GHA) India and in Association with World Without Anger (WWA), Nepal.
Objectives of the Conference:
This international conference aims at creating a cohesive world order through collaborative efforts of peace by teachers and teacher educators. This endeavor shall go a long way in understanding the ways and means to achieve the same. This platform shall also enable knowledge sharing to foster peace through inculcation of values for peaceful coexistence. The key objectives of this international conference are as follows:
?To sensitize the human beings towards global peace.
?To apprise the citizens about the basic virtues of humanism.
?To promote the concept of sustainable development across the globe.
?To organize curricular practices aiming to transforming the personality of future citizens as moral individuals.

About The Organizers:
Army Institute of Education (AIE), Greater NOIDA (UP), India, is a premier Teacher Training Institution running Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme to prepare teachers for secondary level. The Institute was established in 2003 under the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) with the aim of providing pre-service teacher education facility to the dependents of Army personnel. AWES is managing 246 Pre Primary Schools, 133 Army Schools and 11 Army Professional Institutes situated at different locations in India.
The Institute offers two years (semester based) regular Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) program with an annual intake of two units i.e. 100 students per year. The Institute is managed by Head Quarter (HQ) Delhi Area.
The Institute is accredited by National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC); is ISO 9001:2008 certified, received recognition under University Grants Commission (UGC) Act of 2(f), is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi and is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE).
Vision: To prepare intellectually competent, socially concerned, morally upright and technically inclined teachers with skill sets who act as catalyst to shape the destiny of India.

The sprawling campus is spread over 15 acres and has been designed to create a stimulating educational environment. It houses Fully- Residential Complexes of Army Institute of Education (AIE), as well as Army Institute of Management & Technology (AIMT) imparting programmes in EDUCATION and MANAGEMENT respectively, which provides separate and self contained spaces for Educational and Administrative Blocks, Sports Complex and Residential Areas with wide open aesthetically landscaped green spaces promoting an ambience conducive to learning and self-development.
World Without Anger (WWA) Nepal:
World Without Anger (WWA) is a non-governmental, nonprofit organization registered under the prevailing land law of the country in accordance with Societies Registration Act, 1977. It was established in August 2007 with a view to implement Emotional Intelligence Education in order to prevent the devastating effects of anger on individuals, their families, and their communities and to contribute to the Peace Process in Nepal and the world.
Mission: We model Peace in the World by awakening to the Presence within – which is Peace. As we express that Peace through our body, mind, and spirit we – inspire an ever widening, harmonious circle of Life.
Vision: The vision of WWA is to provide educational institutions, civil society organizations, parents and individuals with the need based information, knowledge, and expertise on Emotional Intelligence necessary to create a Peaceful and Joyful world society.
Objective: The main objective of WWA is to establish a credible knowledge base that provides Emotional Intelligence training for all schools, colleges, and university students including parents to learn how to maximize their life experiences by using their mind in the most effective way. WWA will build the knowledge base for future peace negotiations and a wider peace process in the global perspective.
Global Harmony Association (GHA) Trust, Gurgaon, India:
GHA Trust is an association for creating global impact on society & the world for creating global peace & harmonious society through global peace science research and innovation
Vision: Advancement of global peace, science knowledge for creating global sustainable world.
Mission: The Mission of the GHA Trust is to bring global peace by implementing Peace & harmony Projects. The association is driven by the guidance of the global peace leaders & advisory board members.
