The Autoadapt 6-Way Base is designed with focus on the safety of the driver It goes without saying that you, as a wheelchair user, should benefit from the same safety standards as any other driver. The Autoadapt 6-Way Base is crash tested according to global and European standards for vehicles. When seated at the wheel you use the vehicle’s original seat belt. The seatbelt

receptacle in the 6-Way Base has been thoroughly tested including crash testing.

We know that you - as a car owner - wish to keep the vehicle interior looking as neat as possible, despite any adaptation product installed. Our goal has been to design a 6-Way Base which blends well with the vehicle’s

interior design.

Stable and functional

It is essential that a driver has stable seating, which doesn’t sway when making turns or wobble on rough roads.

The construction of the Autoadapt 6-Way Base is designed to eliminate sway and to provide complete stability.

PLS:

AMF: The Amf Under floor cassette lift stows under the side-load door of the vehicle. Refer to GM’s Colorado DFW as a guide to design and usage.

For installation onto vehicles such as the Transporter T5 a fitting Kit would be required,

This will include a replacement fuel tank. Exhaust, modification plus any additional brackets etc.

These lifts have been installed onto such vehicles as The Ford Transit, The Peugeot boxer (low ground clearance on this vehicle). The Mercedes Sprinter.

Please refer the Amf for specifications as to installation on to any vehicle. If installing this onto an unknown vehicle please discuss with the workshop as to modifications required.

In most instances look over vehicle prior to costing.

Guide Costs installed on Vw T5 £8500.00 - £9000.00 + vat (To include fitting kit etc.)

2nd hand options may also be available discuss this with mike as this may be a cost effective alternative for the customer.

Some vehicles will purely require repositioning of items beneath. I.e. Fuel tank, exhaust etc. so fitting kits may not be required but fabrication and install time may increase.

Automatic Tailgate: This system can be wired in many ways from a simple switch on the dash to a fully wireless control system when the switch or remote in activated the tailgate will automatically open or close. The user will have control over the system when an electronic actuator is used for this purpose. When the switch is released the actuator will stop.

When an air system is being used the tailgate utilises the original gas struts to open the vehicle fully an air ram will start the process by pushing the tailgate past the point where the gas struts will automatically push the tailgate open.

On closing the tailgate with an air system the user will depress the button the on handset or dash until the tailgate is closed. The weight of the tailgate will automatically help to close once past approximately the half way point.
