Porto Marghera nacque nel 1917 proprio nell’area dove oggi sorge VEGA ed ebbe il suo massimo sviluppo nel 1965 con 229 aziende e 32.980 addetti. A partire dagli anni ’70 iniziò il declino dell’industria pesante con la chiusura di fabbriche e stabilimenti. Dalla fine degli anni ’90 è iniziata l’inversione di tendenza con l’insediamento di nuove e diversificate attività produttive.

VEGA ha per finalità la riconversione della I Zona Industriale di Porto Marghera attraverso le missioni di:

1 - Riqualificazione urbana e ambientaleVEGA è un modello riconosciuto a livello internazionale di riqualificazione ambientale di un’area industriale dismessa. Là dove, fino al 1993 si producevano fertilizzanti chimici, sorge oggi un nuovo quartiere urbano dotato di infrastrutture innovative per attrarre aziende ad elevato contenuto scientifico e tecnologico.

2 - Riqualificazione industriale, innovazionee attività di incubatoreVEGA promuove una serie di iniziative e di progettualità per favorire il trasferimento di conoscenze, in particolare scientifiche e tecnologiche, dalle Università e dalle grandi aziende, al tessuto delle PMI del territorio veneziano e veneto. VEGA agevola lo sviluppo di start-up e di spin-off universitari e aziendali: un terzo delle imprese insediate è nato nel Parco Scientifico veneziano.

3 - Riqualificazione progettuale e scientificaVEGA promuove l’attivazione di un sistema territoriale dell’innovazione e del trasferimento tecnologico mediante lo sviluppo di reti, di sinergie e di aggregazioni di imprese al fine di ottimizzare percorsi di innovazione sia di prodotto che di processo nelle aziende insediate e nel territorio.

The European CommunityThe European Community played a fundamental role for the creation of the VEGA Park.The Company VEGA Scarl has used communitarian funds, European Structural Funds for Regional Development issued and managed by the Veneto Region, which have represented the starter for the economic, social and cultural revival of a disused industrial area, named VEGA 1, located at the entrance of Venice historic centre.

The Co-Developers VEGA 1Nova Marghera is the developer company of the Guaraldo Group. It is the first private investor who believed in the VEGA project and it made possible the completion of VEGA 1, realizing, promoting and commercializing Lybra and Cygnus: 42.000 m2 of offices and laboratories (outof a total of 70.000 m2).To integrate the functions of VEGA 1, Nova Marghera is now preparing Venice Urban Market: more than 10.000 m2

Nei prossimi dieci anni cambierà radicalmente il volto del nuovo waterfront di Venezia, con la nascita della Città della Conoscenza, Scienza e Tecnologia con affaccio sulla laguna e collegamento acqueo con il centro storico e le isole veneziane.

Edifici modernissimi e biosostenibili, aree verdi, percorsi pedonali e ciclabili saranno costruiti in 35 ettari di aree pregiate, VEGA 1, 2, 3 e 4, situate nella Prima Zona Industriale di Porto Marghera, dove si prevede l’insediamento di oltre 1000 aziende innovative con 10.000 addetti. Non mancheranno, inoltre, spazi per cultura e svago, studios cinematografici e musicali, centro congressi ed eventi.

L’obiettivo è di rilanciare non solo i 35 ettari destinati a Parco Scientifico Tecnologico ma tutta la macroisola di Porto Marghera, 110 ettari localizzati vicino all’aeroporto internazionale, all’interno di una rete veneta di business che conta circa 463.000 imprese.

VEGA AND THE NEW VENETIAN WATERFRONT The City of Knowledge, Science and Technology

The look of the new Venetian waterfront will change radically in the course of the next ten years, with the birth of the City of Knowledge, Science and Technology, overlooking the lagoon and connected with the historical centre and the Venetian islands by the sea.

Very modern and bio-sustainable buildings, green areas, pedestrian and cycle paths will be built in 35 hectares of valued areas, VEGA 1, 2, 3 and 4, located in the First Industrial Area of Porto Marghera, where more than 1000 companiesand 10.000 employees will be settled.Moreover, spaces for culture, leisure and music studios, offices, conferences and events centre will be present.

The aim is to revive not only the 35 hectares destined to the Science Park, but the entire macro-island of Porto Marghera, 110 hectares located near the international airport, inside a business network in Veneto which counts about 463.000 enterprises.

Nel 1926 la società Veneta Fertilizzanti e Prodotti Chimici di Milano avviò la costruzione, su un’area di 110.000 mq, di un impianto per la produzione di fertilizzanti chimici, nelle aree denominate oggi VEGA 1 e VEGA 3.Subito dopo la prima guerra mondiale, la società Montecatini installò, nell’area VEGA 1, un impianto di produzione di acido solforico, materia prima per la preparazione dei fertilizzanti, prodotto da pirite, le cui ceneri venivano stoccate in un edificio, ora denominato Antares, simbolo di archeologia industriale. L’attività di produzione dei fertilizzanti chimici a Porto Marghera cessa nel 1993, anno di costituzione della società VEGA Scarl.

In 1926 the company Veneta Fertilizzanti e Prodotti Chimici di Milano, started to build a plant for the production of chemical fertilizers on a lot of 110.000 m2, in the areas named todayVEGA 1 and VEGA 3.Soon after World War I, the company Montecatini installed in the VEGA 1 area a plant for the production of sulphuric acid, the raw material for the preparation of fertilizers, produced from the pyrite, whose ashes were stocked in a building now named Antares, a symbol of industrial archaeology. Il Progetto VEGA ha avuto inizio nel 1993, anno di costituzione di VEGA Scarl, la società di gestione del Parco, con soci fondatori gli Enti Locali (Comune e Provincia di Venezia), Veneto Innovazione, le due Università veneziane Ca’ Foscari e IUAV, Enichem, Consorzio Venezia Ricerche, API Servizi, SIVE, Confederazione Nazionale Artigiani Venezia, Unione Provinciale Artigiani.La sfida di questo periodo storico, caratterizzato dal declino produttivo e occupazionale di Porto Marghera, è stata quella di rilanciare l’economia locale e regionale con l’innesto di un nuovo modello di sviluppo ecocompatibile che facilita e organizza relazioni e rende appetibile l’insediamento di imprese innovative in un’area completamente trasformata e fornita dei più avanzati supporti tecnologici.Nel 1996 ha inizio il processo di riconversione dei primi dieci ettari destinati a Parco Scientifico Tecnologico (VEGA 1).

The VEGA Project started in 1993, when VEGA Scarl, the company that manages the Park, was founded by the members: the local Institutions (Municipality and Province of Venice), Veneto Innovazione, the two Venetian Universities Ca’ Foscari and IUAV, Enichem, Consorzio Venezia Ricerche, API Servizi, SIVE, Confederazione Nazionale Artigiani Venezia, Unione Provinciale Artigiani. The challenge of this historical period, characterized by a decline of the production and employment in Porto Marghera, was that of reviving the local and regional economy through the introduction of a new model of eco-compatible development. This makes easy and organizes relationships, while making attractive the settlement of innovative enterprises in an area completely transformed and supplied with the most advanced technological supports. In 1996 the reconversion process of the first ten hectares destined to the VEGA 1 started.

Nova MargheraThe completion of VEGA 1 was possible thanks to the association between the company VEGA Scarl and the private investor ing. Pio Guaraldo SpA, that in 2000 founded Nova Marghera, the developer company created for the realization, promotion and commercialization of more than two thirds of the complex (42.000 m² Gifa).

VEGA è il primo Parco Scientifico in Italia ad aver conseguito la certificazione del proprio sistema di Gestione Integrato Qualità-Ambiente, riconosciuta a livello internazionale (UNI EN ISO 9001– UNI EN ISO 14001). VEGA ha inoltre intrapreso il percorso per la Registrazione EMAS.VEGA ha attuato una politica ambientale che ha permesso di raggiungere obiettivi quali: la creazione di nuove aree verdi, la riduzione dei consumi di energia elettrica; l’organizzazione della raccolta differenziata dei rifiuti e il miglioramento della viabilità interna.

Tra i nuovi obiettivi di miglioramento ambientale, si prevede: l’autoproduzione di energia elettrica con installazione di un impianto fotovoltaico; l’ottimizzazione della gestione dei rifiuti speciali; la riduzione delle emissioni diffuse da traffico veicolare, mediante limitazione degli accessi al Parco per i soli insediati.

VEGA acquista l’energia elettrica interamenteda fonti rinnovabili (idroelettrica, eolica, biomassa). I nuovi progetti (energia solare e impianto di cogenerazione) permetteranno a VEGA di produrre energia rinnovabile.

VEGA Scarl ha bonificato l’area VEGA 1 tra il 1996 e il 2000 con certificazione della Provincia di Venezia. Le bonifiche delle aree 2, 3 e 4 sono avvenute tra il 1998 e il 2000. L’area VEGA 2 è stata bonificata dal Gruppo ENI con la tecnica innovativa della bioremediation (biopile).

VEGA is the first Science Park in Italy which got the certification for its own Quality-Environment integrated management system, internationally acknowledged (UNI EN ISO 9001– UNI EN ISO 14001). VEGA has also entered the course for EMAS registration. VEGA has activated an environmental policy that allowed to reach objectives such as: the creation of new green areas, the reduction of energy consumption, the organization of separate collection of household waste andthe improvement of the internal road system.

Among the new objectives of environmental improvement, there are: the self-production of electric energy through the installation of a photovoltaic plant; the optimization of special waste management; the reduction of car traffic widespread emission limiting the access to thePark only to the tenants.

VEGA entirely buys electric energy from renewable sources (hydroelectric, aeolian, biomass). The new projects (solar energy and cogeneration plant) will allow VEGA to produce renewable energy.

VEGA Scarl decontaminated the VEGA 1 area between 1996 and 2000 with the certification of the Province of Venice. The decontamination of the areas 2, 3 and 4 were made between 1998 and 2000. The VEGA 2 area has been decontaminated by the ENI Group through bioremediation (biopile), the innovative technique.

Nel processo di riconversione di VEGA 1, VEGA Scarl ha ristrutturato edifici industriali di pregio a testimonianza del passaggio dall’industria pesante alle nuove produzioni immateriali eco-compatibili.

Tra i manufatti simbolo di archeologia industriale, il più significativo è la Torre Hammon, (anni’ 30), che veniva utilizzata per il raffreddamento dell’acqua nel ciclo di produzione metallurgica. La Torre ospita i ricercatori di Nanofab e il Living Tech Lab, uno dei primi laboratori europei di biologia sintetica molecolare. Risalgono agli anni’ 30 anche l’Edificio Porta dell’Innovazione, ex circolo ricreativo della Montecatini, ora sede della Direzione di VEGA, e l’Edificio Antares (1927), vecchio magazzino di ceneri di pirite trasformato in Centro Congressi dall’indubbio fascino post-industriale. Sempre nell’area VEGA 1, la mensa aziendale (1937) e il magazzino di fertilizzanti (1949) saranno trasformati in spazi per relazione, retail e leisure.

In VEGA 2 le funzioni religiose si svolgono ancora oggi nella Chiesetta di Santa Maria del Rosario (anni ’50) dedicata ai caduti in guerra e sul lavoro.

Nell’area VEGA 3, dove si producevano i fertilizzanti “complessi” (azoto, fosforo e potassio), sono di grande valore l’imponete “cattedrale”e i silos di stoccaggio delle fosforiti.

During VEGA 1 reconversion process, VEGA restored prestigious industrial buildings, as evidence of the passage from heavy industry to new eco-compatible immaterial productions.

Among the products which stand as symbols of industrial archaeology, the most significant is the Hammon Tower (1930’s) which was used to cool the water during the metallurgic production cycle. The Tower now accommodates the Nanofab researchers, and the Living Tech Lab, one of the first European laboratories of synthetic molecular biology. Also the building Porta dell’Innovazione, the old Montecatini recreational circle, was built in the 1930’s, as well as the Antares Building (1927) which was an old storehouse for pyrite ashes transformed into a Conference Centre, wielding an undoubted post-industrial fascination. In the same VEGA 1 area, the staff canteen (1937) and the fertilizers storeroom (1949) will be transformed into spaces for relationship, retail and leisure.

In VEGA 2 the religious functions are still celebrated in the little Church of Saint Mary of the Rosary (built in the 1950’s) which is dedicated to the victims of war and work.

In the area VEGA 3, where the “complex” fertilizers (nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium) were produced, the grand “cathedral” and the silos, where the phosphorites were stored, are of great value.

Ricerca, Innovazione e Trasferimento TecnologicoIl Parco VEGA ha il compito di: a) attivare una serie di iniziative che facilitino il trasferimento di conoscenze, in particolare

scientifiche e tecnologiche, dalle Università e dalle grandi aziende, al tessuto delle PMI del territorio veneziano e veneto;

b) creare un ambiente favorevole alla nascita di nuove idee e al loro sviluppo in attività imprenditoriale tramite l’incubatore;

c) favorire l’aggregazione di imprese anche tramite la creazione di Distretti produttivi.

VEGA, in particolare, ha favorito:1. la realizzazione di piattaforme tecnologiche

Research, Innovation and Technological TransferThe tasks of the VEGA Park are: a) to activate a series of initiatives which facilitate

the transfer of scientific and technological knowledge, from the Universities and the big enterprises, to the fabric of SMEs of the Venetian territory and the Veneto Region;

VEGA svolge una forte e costante azione di networking a livello internazionale, ed è riconosciuto come modello di riqualificazione urbana e ambientale e di innovazione tecnologica replicabile a livello globale.

VEGA ha stretto relazioni con Istituzioni ed Enti scientifici e di ricerca di Paesi quali, ad esempio, la Cina, gli Stati Uniti, la Gran Bretagna, l’Austrialia, l’Austria, l’Albania, la Slovenia, l’India, al fine di promuovere la visibilità del Parco, lo scambio delle conoscenze e la realizzazione di progetti sinergici, con l’utilizzo anche di finanziamenti europei. Tra gli obiettivi primari, inoltre, l’insediamento di imprese innovative straniere nel Parco VEGA, per favorire l’internazionalizzazione del territorio veneziano e veneto, l’attrazione di venture capital e di leader dell’innovazione a supporto della generazione di nuove imprese, e l’inserimento di ricercatori e scienziati stranieri nei laboratori e nelle piattaforme tecnologiche che operano nel Parco.

VEGA develops a strong and constant international networking action, and it is acknowledged as a model of urban and environmental regeneration, as well as of globally replicable technological innovation.

VEGA has established relationships with Science and Research Institutions and Organizations in Countries such as, for example, China, the United States, Great Britain, Australia, Austria, Albania, Slovenia and India, to promote the visibility of the Park, the exchange of knowledge and the realization of synergetic products, also using European funds. Moreover, among the primary goals, VEGA numbers the settlement of foreign innovative enterprises, favouring the internationalisation of the Venetian territory, drawing venture capital and innovation leaders, supporting the generation of new enterprises, attracting foreign researchers and scientists in the laboratories and in the technological platforms working in the Park.

Il Project Office di VEGA svolge l’azione concreta di propulsione dell’innovazione verso le imprese. E’ costituito da professionalità creative e interangenti che lavorano per obiettivi di risultato e gestiscono, attraverso il sistema del multi-project management, attività, progetti e risorse ricercando le migliori soluzioni di realizzabilità scientifica, tecnica e finanziaria.

Con il Technology Transfer Office (TTO) VEGA ha stretto ancora di più il rapporto con il mondo accademico, in particolare con le due Università veneziane Ca’ Foscari e IUAV. Il TTO attua, attraverso l’azione di networking messa in atto da VEGA, il trasferimento di conoscenze dal mondo universitario a quello delle imprese e fornisce risposte rapide alla domanda di innovazione da parte delle aziende del territorio.

L’obiettivo dell’Ufficio Comunicazione è la promozione e la diffusione della cultura dell’innovazione nel territorio tramite l’ideazione e l’organizzazione di iniziative di divulgazione scientifica, economica e culturale, anche in partnership con Enti, Istituzioni e imprese. La comunicazione efficace delle nuove tecnologie è un elemento di democratizzazione della conoscenza.

VEGA has created a new modality to boost innovation locally, nationally and internationally thanks to the Project Office, the TTO and the Communication Office.

The VEGA Project Office develops the concrete action of boosting innovation through enterprises. It is constituted by creative and interacting professionalisms, working for result objectives, and they also manage activities, projects and resources through the multi-project management system, looking for the best solution of scientific, technical and financial realization.

The Technology Transfer Office (TTO) has allowed VEGA to tighten its relationship with the academic world, in particular with the two Venetian Universities, Ca’ Foscari and IUAV. Through the VEGA networking action, the TTO transfers of knowledge from the Universities to the enterprises, and it also rapidly answers to the request for innovation of the companies in the territory.

The goal of the Communication Office is the promotion and the diffusion of the innovation culture in the territory through the formulation and the organization of events for scientific, economic and cultural divulgation, also in partnership with Institutions, Organizations and enterprises. The effective communication of the new technologies represents widespread knowledge.

Metadistretto Veneto dei Beni CulturaliÈ sorto per incentivare lo sviluppo dell’intera filiera dei beni culturali (restauro, conservazionee valorizzazione) e sostenere le aziende del settore.Il suo scopo principale è di promuovere e coordinare progetti a livello nazionale ed internazionale, favorendo la collaborazione fra le imprese e le istituzioni che operano nel settore. Fanno parte del Metadistretto oltre 300 aziende impegnate in tutti i settori legati ai beni culturali: restauro beni mobili e immobili, allestimenti museali, produzione di materiali per il restauro, laboratori di analisi e diagnostica, valorizzazionedei beni culturali, sistemi informatici, editoria.Hanno aderito al Metadistretto 24 fra le principali realtà venete che si occupano di conservazione, tutela e valorizzazione dei beni culturali: istituzioni, enti, associazioni di categoria, fondazioni, università, centri di ricerca e tutte le Soprintendenze del Veneto.

The Metadistrict for Cultural Heritage of VenetoIt was born to stimulate the development of the entire cluster of cultural heritage (restoration, conservation and valorisation) and to support the companies of this field. Its main goal is to promote and coordinate national and international projects, favouring the cooperation among enterprises and institutions. More than 300 companies, working in all sectors connected to cultural heritage, participate to the Metadistrict: restoration of real estate and securitized ownership, museum preparations, production of materials for restoration, laboratories for analysis and diagnosis, valorisation of cultural heritage, computer system, publishing. 24 of the main realities of Veneto, dealing with conservation, preservation and valorisation, have adhered to the Metadistrict: institutions, organizations, category associations, foundations, universities, research centres and all the Superintendencies of the Veneto.

The Metadistrict is involved in: international agreements, signing of agreements to favour enterprises and training in the field; training for employed and unemployed people and masters; conferences and national and international fairs; diffusion of studies and researches regarding restoration; participation to European and national bids; publications for the promotion of the artistic patrimony of the territory; valorisation projects; research of innovative materials and techniques for restoration.

MDM Metadistretto Digital MedialeIl Metadistretto Digital-Mediale MDM è il 1° Cluster Digital Mediale Italiano (per numerodi aziende associate) e fra i più grandi in Europa; opera dinamicamente su progetti collaborativi, altamente innovativi, a favore della crescitae dello sviluppo delle aziende e soci dell’MDMe dell’intera economia regionale.Con l’obiettivo di superare la polverizzazione delle imprese venete, quasi 1000 aziende che si sono riconosciute nella definizione di impresa digitalmediale, sulla base della Legge Regionale del Veneto n° 8 del 2003, si sono aggregate nel Metadistretto Digital-Mediale MDM.

MDM The Digital Media MetadistrictThe MDM is the first Digital-Media Cluster in Italy (for the number of associated companies) and one of the biggest in Europe; it dynamically works on collaborative and highly innovative projects, for the growth and development of the companies and the members of the MDM and the entire regional economy. Almost more than 1000 companies, that identified themselves with the definition of digital-media enterprise, according to the Veneto Regional Law N. 8 of 2003, aggregated in MDM, in order to overcome the pulverization of the enterprises in the Veneto Region.

Also important associations, among which the four Universities, the category entrepreneurial Associations, the Biennale di Venezia, the local Institutions and many Research Centres of Veneto, such as the promoting subject VEGA Park, participate to the Digital Media Metadistrict.

The MDM pursues a program of activities aimed at experimenting new business models, favouring the transfer of technologies among the associates, improving the networking and the interaction among the companies. Moreover, it promotes the incubation activity for the innovative start-up, in connection with the local incubators and the national and international Venture Capitalists.

METAS Metadistretto Veneto dell’Ambiente per lo Sviluppo SostenibileMETAS è un distretto atipico rispetto ai cluster produttivi classici, il primo in Italia che aggrega imprese, enti ed istituzioni che si occupano a vario titolo di ambiente. A livello regionale sono circa 2000 le aziende del settore con 40.000 addetti e un volume d’affari di 21 miliardi di euro.Promosso a gennaio 2008 da VEGA e da IDEAS, Centro Interdipartimentale dell’Università Ca’ Foscari di Venezia, METAS ha ottenuto il riconoscimento ufficiale della Regione del Veneto a luglio 2008. Fanno parte di METAS oltre 400 imprese, e tra i soggetti istituzionali, si annoverano: il CNR, l’Università IUAV di Venezia e l’Università Ca’ Foscari di Venezia, l’Istituto Nazionale di Urbanistica, Enti Locali, Associazioni di Categoria e di Volontariato.

I progetti di METAS riguardano la riqualificazione ambientale dei siti produttivi, le nuove produzioni eco-compatibili (bioraffinerie, agricoltura sostenibile e multifunzionale); la riqualificazione dei territori e dei paesaggi (pianificazione delle risorse territoriali e ambientali, ecoturismo e green way). E’ prevista, inoltre, la realizzazione di un Eco Science Center, la prima esperienza italiana per la diffusione dei principi e delle buone pratiche relative allo sviluppo sostenibile.

METAS The Veneto Metadistrict of Environment for Sustainable DevelopmentMETAS is an atypical district with respect to classical productive clusters, the first in Italy aggregating enterprises, institutions and organizations dealing with environment. There are 2000 companies in the Region working in this field with 40.000 employees and 21 billion euros of turnover. Promoted in January 2008 by VEGA and IDEAS, the Interdepartmental Centre of the University Ca’ Foscari of Venice, METAS was acknowledged officially by the Veneto Region in July 2008. More than 400 enterprises participate to METAS, and among the institutional subjects, it numbers: the CNR, the University IUAV of Venice, and the University Ca’ Foscari of Venice, the National Institution of City Planning, local Institutions, Category and Volunteers Associations.

METAS projects deal with environmental regeneration of productive sites, new eco-compatible productions (bio-refineries, sustainable and multifunctional agriculture); regeneration of territories and landscapes (territorial and environmental resources planning, eco-tourism and green ways). Moreover, an Eco Science Center, the first experience in Italy for sustainable development principles and good practices, is also foreseen to be realized.

SKYD Distretto Veneto dell’Aerospazioe dell’AstrofisicaSKYD è una filiera d’eccellenza che si propone l’obiettivo di accrescere la conoscenza, l’innovazione e le professionalità di un territorio veneto che conta 1300 aziende del settore con 15.000 addetti e un fatturato di 2,5 miliardi di euro. Quattro i comparti di riferimento: aeronautico, aeroportuale, spaziale e astrofisico.Promosso a gennaio 2008 da VEGA e da CISAS, il Centro Interdipartimentale Studi e Attività Spaziali dell’Università di Padova, SKYD è stato riconosciuto dalla Regione del Veneto a luglio 2008. Fanno parte di SKYD oltre un centinaio di imprese, 4 Associazioni di categoria, i 3 Parchi Scientifici veneti, l’Università e la Provincia di Padova.

Tra i progetti di SKYD per il triennio 2008-2011: la realizzazione di un Centro di Eccellenza per lo sviluppo di nuove tecnologie spaziali e il Museo della Scienza e dello Spazio; l’Istituzione di un Centro Tecnologico per l’Aerospazio e l’Astrofisica per la creazione di alleanze e reti d’imprese anche in ambito internazionale; lo sviluppo di tecnologie per la produzione di aeromobili, dei relativi sottosistemi e di componentistica; il miglioramento dei sistemi di sicurezza aeroportuali; l’applicazione di tecnologie RFID per il monitoraggio e il controllo automatico dei bagagli in aeroporto.

SKYD District of Aerospace and Astrophysics of VenetoSKYD is a cluster of excellence with the aim of improving the knowledge, the innovation and the professionalism of the Veneto territory. MDTV Metadistretto Turistico VenetoIl Meta Distretto Turistico Veneto (MDTV), con oltre 1400 aziende ed Enti aderenti che impiegano oltre 26 mila addetti, è il più grande Metadistretto del Veneto e d’Italia.I soggetti promotori sono: VEGA con MDM Metadistretto Digitalmediale Veneto, Danilo Lunardelli, Assessore al Turismo della Provincia di Venezia, Confturismo Veneto, Federturismo Veneto, Confesercenti Veneto, Federcongressi Veneto.Le aziende e gli enti aderenti garantiscono la rappresentatività di tutti i settori dell’imprenditoria turistica: servizi ricettivi, di ristorazione, di intermediazione turistica, trasporti e i servizi per la mobilità, facilities, servizi per la cultura e il tempo libero ed altri servizi a supporto delle imprese turistiche. MDTV Metadistrict of Tourism in VenetoThe Metadistrict of Tourism in Veneto (MDTV), with more than 1400 adhering companies with 26.000 employees and Institutions, is the biggest Metadistrict in Veneto and in Italy. MDTV aims at networking the enterprises belonging to this field through coordinated projects, favouring positive synergies with the other productive sectors and all the subjects that contribute to bring forth the tourism product in Veneto, in coherence with the goals and strategies of the Department of Tourism and Economy of the Veneto Region. Among the goals of the Development Agreement: to create added value for the regional tourism destinations through the networking in terms of offers and distribution of the tourist product, and the capitalization of the tourist presences in each place, for the benefit of the regional tourism system.

BIOFAB Distretto Venetodelle Biotecnologie IndustrialiBIOFAB è un’aggregazione di imprese e Istituzioni venete che intendono operare nel settore delle biotecnologie industriali intese come sviluppo e applicazione di processi molecolari, genici e microbiologici avanzati nei diversi settori di potenziale utilizzo. Promosso da VEGA e dal Dipartimento di Scienze Ambientali di Ca’ Foscari, con il sostegno del Comitato Nazionale per la Biosicurezza, le Biotecnologie e le Scienze della Vita, BIOFAB ha registrato un’adesione di circa 80 aziende e numerosi Enti ed Istituzioni del Veneto tra le quali le Università di Padova ,Venezia e Verona, l’European Center for Living Technology di Venezia, AGCI – Veneto Associazione Generale Cooperative Italiane, l’Azienda Ospedaliera di Verona e dell’Associazione ABO per l’applicazione delle biotecnologie in oncologia.BIOFAB intende sviluppare progetti per il trasferimento di biotecnologie molecolari nell’agroindustria, la sperimentazione di biosensori molecolari e genici per la qualità di alimenti e nella diagnostica clinica, l’industrializzazione di processi fermentativi per la produzione di commodities chimiche ed energetiche, la realizzazione di una piattaforma regionale di bioinformatica, la formazione di tecnici e imprenditori per lo sviluppo della bioindustria veneta.

BIOFAB District of Industrial Biotechnologies of VenetoBIOFAB is the aggregation of enterprises and Institutions of Veneto that want to work in the industrial biotechnologies field, in terms of development and application of molecular, genic and advanced microbiological processes, in the different fields of their potential use.Promoted by VEGA and the Department of Environmental Science of the University of Ca’ Foscari, with the support of the National Committee for Biosafety, the Biotechnologies and the Sciences of Life, BIOFAB has recorded the adhesion of about 80 companies and many Institutions and Organizations of Veneto, among which the Universities of Padua, Venice and Verona, the European Centre for Living Technology, AGCI – General Association of Italian Cooperatives of Veneto, the Hospital of Verona and the ABO Association for the application of biotechnologies in oncology.BIOFAB wants to develop projects to transfer molecular biotechnologies in the agricultural industry, the experimentation of molecular and genic biosensors for the quality of the food and clinic diagnosis, the industrialization of the fermentative processes for the production of chemical and energetic commodities, the realization of a regional platform of bioinformation science, the training of technicians and entrepreneurs for the development of the bio-industry in Veneto.
