As of March 2013 VBR Turbine Partners have established two new maintenance service locations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The purpose of these offi ces is to support gas turbine owners and operators in the Middle East region with dedicated maintenance management expertise and leading maintenance solutions & services.
The offi cial opening event is scheduled in the last week of April, details to follow.

Successful on-site second stage HPT nozzle exchange LM2500
According to the offi cial GE LM maintenance manuals a second stage HPT nozzle exchange is level 3 maintenance and should be performed in a GE licensed overhaul shop only.
To support our customer VBR Turbine Partners have succesfully performed a second stage HPT nozzle exchange on-site at the customer power plant.
The benefi ts for this customer:• a minimal loss of production• a major reduction in costs compared to
a nozzle exchange at an overhaul shop.

VBR Turbine Partners will join the International GE Frame 6B and 9E users conference from March 19 -22 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

VBR Turbine Partners have recently completed a LM1600 Woodward control system retrofi t at the J6A offshore platform of Centrica Energy Upstream in the North Sea between the United Kingdom and The Netherlands.
After completion of this project Centrica has submitted a supplier performance evaluation into the FPAL professional procurement system for the Oil & Gas Industry.
The outcome of this VBR performance evaluation: Excellent: Service Quality, Project Management, Organisation,
Installation & Commissioning, and Competence & Training.
Good: Product Quality, Planning & Delivery, Health & Safety, Environment, Innovation & Improvement, Commercial Management, Customer Interfaces, Facilities and Documentation.
