Características

• El perfil metafisario asegura una estabilidadprimaria que impide el hundimiento y la rotación.La parte distal afinada ofrece un posicionamientosin bloqueo a nivel de las corticales diafisarias.

• La estabilidad secundaria es obtenida mediante osteogénesis activa por medio del revestimiento de hidroxiapatita, y la colonización de las estrías por el hueso neo-formado.

• La lateralización obtenida por una traslacióndel cuello femoral, permite conservar el mismoángulo cérvico-diafisario de 130º.

• El menor dimensionado de la sección delvástago cementado, con respecto al revestido,permite obtener un manto de 1mm de cementoutilizando la raspa de la misma talla que elimplante.

• Los vástagos poseen un cono 12-14 y un cuelloafinado pulido brillante, lo que va a aumentar laamplitud angular, retrasando así, el efecto palancay evitando la luxación.

Characteristics

• The metaphyseal profile of the stem ensures primary stabilitywhen embedded and in torsion. The slimmed down terminal partprovides positioning that does not block the diaphyseal parts of the cortex.

• Secondary stability is obtained by osteogenesis activated by thehydroxyapatite coating and the colonisation of the striations bythe new growth of bone.

• Lateralisation obtained through a non-homothetic translation ofthe neck of the femur enables the same cervico-diaphyseal angleof 130° to be retained.

• The smaller dimensions of the cross-sections of cemented stemscompared with coated stems enables a 1 mm coat of cement to beobtained by using a rasp of the same size as the implant.

• The stems are available with a 12/14 cone and a slimmed downneck in brilliant polish that increases articulatory amplitude whilepostponing a cam effect and avoiding dislocation.

• Stems for cementing are made in forged stainless steel (ISO 5832-9).Their brilliant polished appearance removes the constraint of shearing at thebone/cement interface.
