Modu_Control software update version 4.2

With the software version 4.2 in production from September 2010 some new features were introduced as listed below:

1. Installer Menu (pwd 30)

Inlet/outlet

If 0, the unit works with inlet water temperature regulation. If 1 the unit works with outlet water temperature regulation. If 2 (new) the unit works according to water temperature measured by the sensor of VMF-ACS in the plant buffer tank. (in case of failure of this sensor, the probe in the unit will be used, and an alarm 157 will be activated.) If the production of hot water is activated, the regulation is automatically forced to outlet water temperature irrespective of the value of this parameter.

2. Advanced reading Menu (pwd 10)

This menu contains further information about the unit operation, in addition to that in the main reading menu. N Description Name Meaning

0 = The pump is always working even upon reaching the set point. 1 = The pump is switched Off when the set point is reached. (when this option is activated, the regulation is forced to the inlet water temperature). This parameter is shown only with inlet water temperature regulation (parameter 0 (pwd 30) =1 or 2).

5. Electric heater management

The temperature control is according to the value of the parameter 0 (pwd 30). Previously it was only in

relation to the outlet temperature.

6. Domestic hot water management

In case of DHW enabling, the regulation is automatically forced to the outlet water temperature,

independently from the value of the parameter 0 (pwd 30).
