At Institute of Agricultural Sciences we believe that for the overall development of an individual, both in-situ as well as ex-situ training is essential. To improve upon their skills and give them exposure to new research, technologies and functioning of various institutions, we work in collaboration with various agencies/research institutes/private firms so that we can offer our students an edge over the rest of Agri-graduates/postgraduates when it comes to practical knowledge and work experience. It also helps expanding the horizon of our students and thus they are not limited only up to traditional agricultural knowledge but also have knowledge in other fields such as fisheries, forestry, plantation cropping, etc. There are several research projects running at BHU being supported by ICAR, UGC, CSIR, UPCAR, CST, NABARD, World Bank and other national and international agencies to which students gets exposure from time to time.
