In the year 2009, the journey for the development of sound

mind and skill based work force for the Nation at large was

commenced by JAHNVIS MULTI FOUNDATION TRUST'S

VANDE MATARAM DEGREE COLLEGE originated with

CS and IT has now its full-edged academic curriculum under

Arts, Commerce and Regular Science too. It is situated in the

heart of Dombivli (west) and near three stations.

“Sincerity and Hard working leads to Success” so as the college

strives hard to provide facilities like laboratories, library and

magazine cater with a friendly infrastructure to fulll the

academic thirst of the society. Quality activities like N.S.S. unit,

involvement of entire college students in completion of one

social project, Job Mela for “Earn while Learn” facility, Inter

and Intra Collegiate sports and Cultural meet like Science

exhibition (District level) were more than 110 schools and

colleges participated with innovative ideas and Ganraj

Preranotsav an Inter collegiate competition at the time of

Ganesh Chaturthi festival, seminar, workshops, research

activities, conferences, etc. brings laurels to the college. Theme

based activities are conducted to create social awareness

among the students e.g. Chocolate Day celebration with

Orphanage childrens and also Rose Day Celebrations with

Civil Service Providers. Annual day ‘Preranotsav’ celebration

at the end of the year with great zeal & enthusiasm.

With the vision of providing quality education at par excellence

with potentials and vitality we, VANDE MATARAM FAMILY

work with the aim to produce big smiles and depth of wisdom

by nurturing values and humanity to serve the society.

‘GREEN CHEMISTRY & GREEN NATURE’ advancing chemistry and its implications in many areas of importance. It is designed to carry-out Science, Engineering, Manufacturing and other areas of human endeavor in many ways that are oriented towards minimal environmental & resources impact with the highest degree of sustainability.

We must recognize the reality & to the best of our ability manage earth in a positive way by avoiding those measures that are unsustainable and certain to do environmental harm on large scale. We should adopt doing things in a way that minimize environmental impact & even using atmospheric activities to enhance the environment as a whole & to maintain sustainability.

OBJECTIVE OF SEMINAR

- To convey the importance of ‘GREEN’ principles in our everyday life, in industry & human life as a whole, in laboratories & even in education, surrounding & nature.
