This month’s mission:

Yes, Lord, we love You and want to serve You as You have instructed us to do. May our hearts be filled with “love” for You, Jesus, and Your sheep. Make our willing response be “Yes, Lord” when You call us. Let us forget about ourselves, pick up our cross and follow You in reaching out to others! This is our prayer! Just think, what if Billy Graham had said, “No” and his son, Franklin had not eventually followed in serving the Lord through Samaritan’s Purse! What about our Southern Baptist leaders and all the missionaries that serve in South Carolina, North America and internationally! Now, closer to home, what about our own pastors in our churches! What if they had said, “No, Lord.” Who would have fed the sheep, who would have fed us? Our pastors feed us spiritually each Sunday and as my pastor shared recently, “We should spend our lives writing living letters.” This was based on 2 Corinthians 3: 1-4. Others will see Jesus in us when we say, “Yes, Lord” and forget about ourselves, pick up our cross and follow Him. He is there with us to be our helper and guide!
