DAY 01 ARRIVAL CARINS-PORT DOUGLAS (LCH/DNR) On arrival, meet & greet and transfer to Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park, Australia’s largest Indigenous cultural park. Join the descendants of the world’s oldest living culture on the foothills of the Barron Gorge Rainforest for a day full of fun interactive shows, activities and demonstrations. Learn how to play the didgeridoo, throw a boomerang, and capture our informative talks about bush medicines and hunting methods and even watch live dance performances. See the new Torres Strait Islander Dance troupe and Art of the People talk. If that isn’t enough try your hand at boomerang, painting and islander weaving/jewellery making. Buffet lunch at Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park and enjoy your the rest of the afternoon than continue journey to Port Douglas for check in rest and relax.

DAY 02 PORT DOUGLAS-QUICKSILVER CRUISES (BKF/LCH/DNR)

Today join the Quicksilver Outer Barrier Reef Cruise on SIC basis. For your experience of a lifetime, Quicksilver’s wavepiercing catamaran and friendly crew will take you to a reef at the very edge of Australia’s Continental Shelf, to an underwater world that is dazzling kaleidoscope of colour and brilliance. Agincourt Reef, a magnificent ribbon reef where you can experience first hand the magic that is the Great Barrier Reef.

Choose to dive, snorkel, or stay dry and explore the stunning reef from the comfort of a Quicksilver semi-sub, just one meter underwater. Watch the fish feeding from Quicksilver’s unique underwater viewing platform and underwater observatory, or fly in a helicopter over the reef. Enjoy the entertaining and educational wildlife presentations including snakes, cassowaries, koalas, crocodiles, quolls and much more. Take a boat cruise on Hart ley’s Lag oon to see crocodiles and other wildlife on the melaleuca wetland. Learn about sustainable use and conservation on the Crocodile Farm tour. The newly opened Gondwana Gateway is an innovative addition to Hartley’s where you can learn about the evolution of Australian wildlife in a beautiful forest setting surrounded by living descendants of Australia’s ancient past. Enjoy a delicious snack in Lilies Restaurant overlooking Hartley’s Lagoon and find that perfect gift, including crocodile leather products, in the Paperbark Gift Shop. DAY 03 PORT DOUGLAS / CAIRNS (BKF/LCH/DNR)

Today enjoy a day of adventure at Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures. Located just 40 minutes north of Cairns and 25 minutes south of Port Douglas, Hart ley’s Cr ocodile Advent ures is simply the best place to see crocodiles and local wildlife in Tropical North Queensland.

Day 04 CAIRNS (BKF/DNR) Enjoy your breakfast at hotel

After breakfast, meet you driver and transfer to Skyrail Rainforest Cableway is a truly unique rainforest experience, carrying passengers in comfortable six-person gondolas through pristine World Heritage- listed tropical rainforest. Spanning 7.5 kilometres, Skyrail gondolas glide just metres above the canopy providing uninterrupted views of the rainforest, Cairns' tropical region, Coral Sea and lush Cairns Highlands. The rail makes two stops at Red Peak and Barron Falls station for opportunities to learn more about the rainforest.

At Red Peak Station qualified Rangers provide guided boardwalk tours sharing their knowledge on these ancient tropical forests, easy access walkways at Barron Falls Station take you to three separate lookouts providing breathtaking views of Barron Gorge and Barron Falls.

Visit the hi-tech Rainforest Interpretation Centre at Barron Falls Station, housing touch screen computers and interactive audio-visual presentations; the Centre provides an informative and fun learning experience enhancing your appreciation of the rainforest On arrival at Kuranda, you can look around this quaint village.

Thereafter, take a 3.30pm Kuranda Scenic Rail back to Cairns. KSR Gold Class offers passengers a touch of luxury. This famous railway winds its way on a journey raising from sea level to a height of 328 metres with unsurpassed views, for approximately 1 hour 45 minutes from Cairns to Kuranda, the village in the rainforest. Upon reaching the village of Kuranda a rich assortment of interesting attractions and unique shopping experiences awaits you. Arrive cairns, transfer to hotel for check in rest and relax. AMENDMENT POLICY

* Due to the very competitive nature of rates, we will accept a MAXIMUM of 3 (THREE) Amendments per booking to be received beyond 72 hours of reservation. Any additional amendments will incur AUD5.00 SERVICE FEE PER AMENDMENT. Amendments received less than 72 hours may incurr cancellation charges.
