Guidelines on safe transportation of School Children Dear Parent, You are requested to adhere to the following guidelines and instructions to ensure safe transportation of your children.

1) Please urge your children to avoid speaking to any stranger or any familiar

person who may initiate a conversation with them on their way to or back from

school.

2) Children should be trained to quickly walk away from strangers who may

intercept them.

3) Please instruct your children that when strangers or familiar person offer a lift,

They must be taught to refuse.

4) If drivers are employed from your end, please instruct them to pick up children

as soon as the school gets over, and not to engage in gossip causing a delay in the

pick up of the children. School authorities will also monitor this.

5) To take up safe commute and transportation, bearer cards are issued along with

this guideline sheet. In case you employ an outsider to either drop or pick up

your child, please use the filled in bearer card to be shown to the school

authorities at the time of pick up from the school.

6) Also send us a Photo copy of the bearer card to keep track of the person who

comes to pick up the children.

7) Children should be instructed not to go with anyone other than the person who

picks them up or escorts them (Please make effective regular use of the bearer

card issued).

8) If there is a change in the escort or the person who picks them up, you are

instructed to inform the school authorities immediately.

9) If as a parent you come to pick up the child, let there not be any delay in your

arrival for the pickup. Incase of emergencies please inform the school officials.

10) If for any reason the child commuting by school bus is picked up earlier or ahead

of the school closure, you are requested to inform the school authorities and the

driver of the concerned bus.

11) Private vehicles will not be allowed inside the school campus.
