I. GeneralDZ(Q)/DZP(Q) vacuum packing machine is a kind of new-model packing machine.

Once the interior of the packing bag is evacuated, the automatic sealing will be enabled. The high vacuum degree and less air buildup inside the packing bag can inhibit bacteria and other microbial from reproduction and prevent articles from oxidized and going moldy. If some soft articles are packed in this machine, the packing volume can be reduced, and the transportation and storage can be facilitated.

II. PurposeThis series of the vacuum packing machine utilizes composite membrane bags to pack

a great variety of solid, powdery, pasty and liquid food, drugs, local specialties, aquatic products, industrial chemicals, hardware, and electronic components in a heat sealing way, available to prevent articles from being deteriorated and going moldy caused by fatty articles oxidization and aerobic bacterial reproduction, and thus to retain high quality, freshness, flavor, and color of articles, good to extend the storage time, convenient for transportation, and earnings of foreign exchange through exporting packed articles.

III. Performances and Characteristics(1) A single-chamber cover is made of fully transparent organic glass, which enables

packing progress easy to be seen.(2) A double-chamber vacuum packing machine is provided with two vacuum

chambers, which work by turns to connect package closure work with preparation work from beginning to end, and enhanced packing efficiency greatly. The upper and lower work chambers are made of stainless steels, with sound structure, good air tightness, pretty and durable, meeting the requirements of food health and germ resistance.

This series of vacuum packing machine can perform the functions of vacuuming, sealing, and printing in one off. It is equipped with the adjusting devices for vacuum degree, heat sealing temperature, heat sealing time, etc. according to different packing materials and different packing requirements, facilitating the users to make optimal selection and adjustment and to achieve the optimum packing effect accordingly. As required by the users, this machine can be equipped with a printing device featuring easy word switching and clean typing. Namely, during the course of sealing, the guarantee period, ex-works date, ex-works number, and other words are printed on the sealing lines so as to coincide with the regulations of the national food label laws.

V. Structure and PrincipleThe complete machine is composed of vacuum cover, vacuum work chamber, body,

electric section and vacuum system. The vacuum cover is equipped with a set of heating devices wherein the heating element is the nickel-chromium band installed on the heat sealing support. There is absolute insulation between the heating element and the vacuum chamber. The heat sealing support clings to the airbag. Prior to heat sealing, the air bag is in the state of low vacuum, during the course of heat sealing, the airbag connects to air gives rise to pressure difference via action of the heat-sealing electromagnetic valve YV1, which makes airbag volume become big and press down the ironing head (nickel-chromium band) for sealing and heating simultaneously, while the heating temperature and heating time can be adjusted. The vacuum work chamber is equipped with the heat pressing and sealing device to complete the packing coupled with the heat sealing support.

The power supply of this machine is three-phase four-wire system, inputting 380V, 50HZ AC power or 220V, 50HZ AC power in the form of center line. The vacuum machine motor: voltage: 220V/380V AC, 2X0.75KW power, 2800 rev./min. The heating system is of pressure regulating type, i.e. the elementary voltage of the heat sealing transformer AC 220V/380V, and secondary voltage thereof has three gears that can be adjusted via the shape on the panel. The optional voltages: 28V, 32V and 36V. The heat sealing temperature

can be changed by changing the elementary voltage, while the heat sealing time can be adjusted via the keys on the panel.

As for the single-chamber vacuum packing machine, the heat-sealing electromagnetic YV1 and air-out electromagnetic YV2 form the vacuum system to be serve as an actuating mechanism. As for the double-chamber vacuum packing machine, heat-sealing electromagnetic YV1 and air-out electromagnetic YV2 form the vacuum system. As for the desk-top/single-chamber gas-filled vacuum packing machine, the heat sealing electromagnetic YV1, air-bag suction electromagnetic valve YV3, gas-filled electromagnetic valve YV4, air-out electromagnetic valve YV2 form the vacuum system. As for the double-chamber (plate) gas-filled vacuum packing machine, the heat sealing electromagnetic valve YV1, air-bag suction electromagnetic valve YV3, gas-filled electromagnetic valve YV4, YV5, air-out electromagnetic valve YV2 form the vacuum system.

Vacuum machine startup is to evacuate the vacuum chamber. When the preset vacuum degree is achieved, the vacuum machine can stop working, and the whole control program is transferred to the next program, and this machine is provided with the single-stage rotary vacuum machine (for the technical performance of the pump, please see the Instruction Manual).

the Reduce Key 7.4. Heat sealing temperatureTo set the desired temperature value, press the Key 7.5. To rest this machine to the default values, press the Function Key 4 four times. In this

case, “Ed” is displayed on the Display Screen 3.5. Working progressesIn alert, after the packing machine cover is closed, the program can be automatically started,

with the progresses as follows:① Gas suction: The nixie tube counts from O to the setting time value. When time out, go to

step ②.② Heat sealing: The nixie tube counts from 0.0 to the setting time value. When time out, go

to step ③.③ Cooling: The setting value of heat sealing time is displayed on the nixie tube. When time

out, go to step ④. ④ Air out: “Ed” is displayed on the nixie tube. This machine cover can be opened

automatically after the end.⑤ As for the gas-filled vacuum machine, it is necessary to add one step between ① and ②:

Following the step 1, add nitrogen gas or other gases to the packing bag, when time out, go to step ②.

4. Emergency stopIn case abnormal conditions occur or it is intended to finish the working progress in advance,

just press the Emergency Stop 3 to return to normal or stop working to return to be alert.

VII. Check and Adjustment1. After unpacking, check whether the accompanied accessories are complete or not against

the Packing List; whether the screw on each part of this machine is loosened or not; whether the organic glass cover of the single-chamber vacuum machine moves up and down flexibly or not; whether the vacuum cover of the double-chamber (plate) vacuum packing machine moves left and right flexibly or not.

2. All moving parts, oil holes, and oil nozzles shall be properly lubricated. According to the specifications of the vacuum pump instruction, the appropriate amount of vacuum oil is filled into the vacuum. And the vacuum oil filled via the oil inlet shall be 3/4 of oil window height, and the oil level during the pump running shall be not less than 1/4 of oil window height. The maximum oil quantity shall not exceed 3/4 of oil window height.

3. Adjustmenta. Adjustment of Vacuum Degree of Vacuum Chamber In light of the need of the packed articles, select the best suction time to obtain the

appropriate vacuum degree. The longer the suction time is, the higher the vacuum degree is.b. Adjustment of heat sealing temperature and heat sealing timeAccording to the different materials of the packing bag and the different packed articles,

optimally select the heat sealing temperature (1-3 gears adjustable) and the heat sealing time on the panel (0-9.9 sec.) to obtain the optimal sealing strength. Adjust the temperature low to high to make the desired appearance and the strength available for sealing

VIII. Operating Procedures1. Switch on: turn on the power switch, i.e. the power indicator is on. Set the air suction time,

heat sealing time, cooling time, and heat sealing temperature.2. Pack the articles into the packing bag (compound-plastic bag or compound-aluminum foil

bag), put the packing bag in any vacuum chamber, lift the batten, put the bag mouth evenly under the heat sealing support for arrangement, and then put down the batten.

3. Screw down the vacuum cover, i.e. the suction (vacuum) indicator on the panel is on. The vacuum machine starts suction to enable the machine cover to be automatically pulled. The pump down time can be adjusted appropriately according to the packing requirements.

4. When the suction reaches the set time (i.e. required vacuum degree), the suction will come to an end, and the indicator will be off and the heat sealing indicator will be on, in this case, the electromagnetic valve will act, thus the sealing procedure will begin. There is a heat sealing time button and a temperature adjusting button on the panel. Note that the time and temperature shall be adjusted according to the specifications of the packing bag.

5. When the set heat sealing time is reached, the heat sealing indicator will be off to end the heat sealing and complete the cooling procedure. In this case, the air-out electromagnetic valve will act, the air will enter the vacuum chamber, the vacuum cover will be lifted automatically, and thus the progress of the vacuum gas packing will come to an end, and the next packing cycle will get ready.

6. In case of the gas-filled vacuum packing machine, it is necessary to fill the required gas (nitrogen gas is selected in general) for heat sealing after finishing evacuating the vacuum chamber, then the residual gas (nitrogen) in the vacuum chamber must be extracted, finally, the air-out electromagnetic vale acts and the packing progress ends.

IX. Troubleshooting1. Failure of creation of vacuum or low degree of vacuum. a. Check whether the vacuum machine reverses or not, i.e. whether the rotation direction

coincides with the motor arrow. If not, the phase must be adjusted on a timely basis.b. The vacuum cover seal ring and the working chamber surface are not sealed very well

during the course of a machine, so it is necessary to exert a slight pressure on the vacuum cover, to enable the vacuum cover and the working chamber to be completed sealed.

c. Check whether the sensitive switch contact of the single-chamber vacuum packing machine is sound or not, and whether the travel switch of the double-chamber vacuum packing machine is in place, if not, it is necessary to adjust the position of the sensitive switch or the travel switch.

d. In case of leakage arising from improperly closing the vent valve, check whether the vent valve electromagnetic valve, valve core (rubber) is aged or polluted, or whether the valve is off centering, in case o f the aforesaid conditions, the maintenance or replacement must be made on a timely basis.

e. Check whether all parts of the pipeline are leaked or loosened.2. Poor heat sealing qualitya.Check whether the packing bag is clean. Do avoid dirt at the sealing.b.Check whether the nickel-chromium band works normally or not, and whether short circuit

and open circuit occurs.3. Main-board faults a. Keep the main-board circuit inside the machine clean and dry. It is not allowed to have the

metallic foreign matters on the surface to avoid short circuit inside the main board or disorder program.

b. In case of jump action when creation of vacuum or heat sealing is not conducted, the seat leg of the corresponding switch can not be plugged firmly or the press key is damaged.

c. In case of the missing of digital display board or the failure of the action indication, it means that the seat leg of the digital display board is loosened or the digital display is partially damaged.

d.In case the high/mid/low heat sealing doesn’t work, it means that the pins of corresponding high/mid/low relay are loosened or the relays are damaged.

X. Repair and Maintenance1. Please read the Instruction carefully to have a mastery of adjustment and utilization

methods before use.2. Make regular maintenance and oil charge for the vacuum pump in accordance with

the specification of the vacuum pump. Note that reversion is not allowed to prevent the pump damage and the pump reverse, and reversed spraying of vacuum oil on the vacuum system inside the pump.

3. Do ensure the oil level shall be 1/2-3/4 of oil window height during the course of vacuum pump running. The oil level and conditions of oil pollution shall be checked on a regular basis (once a week advisable). In case vacuum oil is darkened, emulsified, and thickened arising from oil pollution, the polluted oil shall be replaced on a timely basis, and clean the vacuum pump before filling up with new oil.

4. Regularly check whether the ground line of this machine is in good contact to ensure the security of power utilization.

5. Regularly check whether the sealing dye cloth (poly) of the heat sealing support has foreign matters, and are leveled to ensure the sealing strength.

6. In case faults are found, shut off the power supply timely, when necessary, press the emergency stop button, lift the machine cover after air out, then shut off the power supply, to detect reasons and eliminate troubles.

XI. Precautions1. The reversion of vacuum pump motor is prohibited.2. Open the tank cup and fill up with #6 or #10 auto motor oil before use.2. Check oil level on a regular basis. The minimum oil level shall not be less than 1/4 of oil

window height, and the maximum oil quantity shall not exceed 3/4 of oil window height.4. When oil contains water or other foreign matters, oil shall be replaced on a timely basis.5. Oil shall be filled during the course of transportation or handling.6. The vent filter shall be replaced once every half a year.7. When gas charging, the external air source pressure indication shall be not more than

0.2MPa.8. Press down the emergency stop air escape cock to stop the vacuum pump for automatic gas release, and lift the working chamber.9. It is forbidden to pack the inflammable and explosive articles.
