DIVISION TRAINING-WORKSHOP ON SCHOOL-BASED MANAGEMENT (SBM)
FRAMEWORK, PROJECT 555 AND LEARNING ACTION CELL (LAC)
To: OlC-Assistant Schools Division Superintendent CID Focal Person SGOD Focal Person Education Program Supervisors School Heads (Public Elementary, JHS and SHS) All Others Concerned
1. In line with DepEd Orders No. 83, s. 2012 and No. 35, s. 2016 which are instruments in assessingschools' management practices and improving teaching-learning process through professionaldevelopment respectively, the Schools Division of Imus City shall conduct a Division TrainingWorkshop on School-based Management (SBM) Framework, Project 555 and LearningAction Cell (LAC) on 12-14 December 2017 at a venue to be announced later.
2. This three-day activity aims to:a. revitalize knowledge on the importance of Revised SBM Framework, Assessment Process and
Tool (APAT) for school improvement;
b. enumerate different artifacts required for every indicator per SBM principle;
c. acquaint participants on SBM assessment to improve the level of SBM practice;
d. showcase Project 555 to revitalize ENSCIMAFILAP subjects; and
e. develop competence and management skills in Learning Action Cell (LAC) toward effective
and efficient teachers' professional community.
3. Three participants are expected per school, composed of the following: School Head, SBMCoordinator, and Project 555 Coordinator (preferably Master Teacher or Teacher III).
4. Register at http://deped.in/sbm555lac not later than Friday, 08 December 2017.
5. Each school is required to bring a laptop and flash drive for workshop purposes and storage ofrelated files.
6. Attached to this Memorandum are the Training Matrix, Programme and List of Management Stafffor guidance and reference of all concerned.
7. A finalization meeting to be attended by the Technical Working Group 1s set on Friday,08 December 2017, 2:00pm, at the SDO Conference Room.
8. Training expenses relative to the conduct of this activity shall be charged to Division HRTD Fundwhile travel expenses of participants are chargeable to School MOOE subject to the usualaccounting and auditing rules and regulations.
9. Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is earnestly desired.#
