Lesson planning is an iterative process!!! Formulate the MAIN Theme(s) for the

three lessons. (What is the main point you are teaching?) This ties the three lessons together

…Look in the front of your resource books!

Consider a Venn Diagram or some other representation.

Consider the lesson objectives on the below. What do you think of each? Which are most useful for teachers?

What makes a good performance objective? What’s a SWBAT ? This is what the students will DO to build the

concept Use “Power” verbs. Take a look at Handout. - Performance Objectives / Power Verbs Avoid using terms that are not measurable.
