Dear readers and friends

It seems like not too long ago thatthe founding members of NSCgathered at the Friendship House inToronto, Canada in August of 1992and launched NSC on its way. WithDr. A.J. Thut as Honorary Chairmanpresiding, Michael Lucas, R.S.Kenny, Ray Stevenson, HelenLucas, Alex McLennan, NickKucherew, Michael Yasny, WilliamTyconik, Dan Ross, Louise Greene,Anna Lukac, Bill Craig, Lil Greene,F.R. Sherwood and Doug Adamsstarted this much needed effort.

As we celebrate 17 years ofpublishing NSC each month (besidesall extra NSC supplements)sometimes it is hard to believe thaton voluntary bases we managed toraise the needed finances for printingand mailing - 204 Monthly issues ofNorthstar Compass!

Now that we are publishing theEnglish, French, Russian andSpanish Editions of NSC and the factthat they are in 68 countries of theworld, our need for financial help isgrowing and we again appeal to all ofyou to help us reach our $40,000NSC Sustaining Fund by the end ofthis 17th Anniversary year!

USSR: SPOILS OF THECOLD WAR!

The dismemberment of the SovietUnion throuqh revisionism, internal

traitors, such are the rotten fruits of43 years of the Cold War, largelyinstituted by the US military-industrialcomplex. Strings that are attached toIMF loans include (in any country)cuts in all social, health andeducational programs; lay-offs,speed up and wage cuts; denial offood subsidies of all kinds; more taxon the poor, less tax for the rich...ingeneral, the cutting living standardsall along the line for the people. Ifthis has a familiar ring to it, it doesnot apply only to the "USSR' and"Eastern Europe" or the "ThirdWorld". Take a look at the Canadianscene as well.

This is what Boris Yeltsin begsthe IMF to apply to the Sovietpeople.

The IMF Banker's pay-off of thedissolution of the Soviet Union andthe opening up of its rich and vastresources - natural, human,technological and scientific - tocapitalist domination and exploitationhas been planned since 1946.

On September 24, 1946, ClarkClifford, then a Special Council to USPresident Truman, submitted areport on the US-Soviet relations. Inpart it read: "The language ofmilitary power is the onlylanguage which disciples ofpower understand. The UnitedStates must use that language...Itmust be made apparent to theSoviets that our strength will besufficient to defeat the USSRdecisively..."

Today this same internationalbanker Clifford stands charged in theUSA with a variety of criminal actsfor embezzlement, fraud, etc.

Then on August 18 1948 the US

National Security Council Report#20/1 was confirmed by the USgovernment to become an overallstrategic plan for either / ormilitarized action against the SovietUnion. It read in part: "Thisgovernment had been forced, forme purpose of policies that are nowin progress, to consider more definiteand military objectives towardsRussia...In the first place, there is notime limit for the achievement of ourobjectives...We must ensure thateven a regime which is communistand although friendly, to us, is notallowed to be a strong military power;is economically dependent on theoutside world; is not allowed toexercise authority over its nationalminorities; does not prevent contactswith the outside world.

At the present we know that thereare a number of powerful Russianpolitical groupings that we are intouch with...any of which would bepreferable to us as opposed to thepresent Soviet government (to meetthe problem of dealing withresistance of the Communists) wewould need only to give them thenecessary support and arms, plusmilitary support to whatever non-communist group willing to proceedwith procedures of a civil war...!

Thus spoke the US Government47 and 44 years ago. This is a timeof great danger, intrigue and sharpcall to all of us to defend Socialismand the USSR!

Dear readers:This was the statement that was

issued by the Concerned Friends ofSoviet People in 1992! We were theonly progressive publication inCanada to do so! We were alsocriticized for doing so, or that we didnot understand "perestroika andglasnost" or that Yeltsin andGorbachev were trying to build"socialism with a human face" andmany other criticism.

History certainly proved uscorrect in taking a stand againstthese revisionists and traitors!

GUEST EDITORIAL

FOR THE RESURECTIONOF THE USSR!By GIOVANNI G. VIERIA - Brazil

The article in NSC "The SlanderedCountry" by Pavel Krasnov,published in the July-August issue,helped to shed light upon the fascistaims against the USSR, its leaders,people and culture.

We have been seeing all thosefascist and Mafioso criminal plots inorder to throw mud at everythingrelated to the first successful socialistrevolution in the world - the October1917 Revolution - born in Leningradunder the leadership of the GreatVladimir Ilitch Lenin, a revolution thathas changed the entire world.

If it were not for the USSR, theglorious deeds of the Soviet RedArmy, its brave working class andpeople, all of them under the greatleadership of Stalin - Hitler wouldwin the Second World War and allmankind would be living under thebrutal and cruel nazi-fascist rule!

Communists, Jews, Gypsies andother ethnic groups would have beenwiped out oft the surface of the earth.

Thanks to the financial, diplomaticand military aid given by the SovietUnion to several African and MidEast countries, they were able tobreak out of their chains that keptthem tied to Western Colonialism,with all its tragic consequences.

China and Cuba counted for

many, many years on the Sovietbacking, in order to carry on theirsocialist plans and works for thebenefit of their people.

Not to mention the support givenby the hand of the Soviets to thecause of peace in the whole world.The USSR stood for a strong barrieragainst America and its alliesimperialist wars of aggression andplunder against all of mankind.

Last, but not least, the USSRrepresented an example to befollowed by the working class of theworld for years on end, struggling forits emancipation from the bondagesof the capitalist class - THE RULINGCLASS - whose pitiful actions andaims no doubt differ from thosedefended by the workers and thepeople.

So, if we really want to fight off thecapitalist barbarity, it's up to all of uspeace-minded people and workingclass backers to continue strugglingfor Socialist principles and for theResurrection of the USSR!

NEWS FROM FORMER USSR

TOGLIATTI AUTO WORKERSON STRKE IN RUSSIA

In June of this year the TogliattiAuto workers went on strike and over500 workers held signs, whichproclaimed that- "We are notSlaves!"-"Down with unemployment!""1917-2009!"

The first speaker was PeterZolotvarev, head of the trade union"Unity" who said: "We are Sovietpeople, we built this carmanufacturing complex - Tadjiks,Russians, Kazakhs, Tatars - so, letus demand the nationalization of thisSoviet Togliatti Auto complex! Wedemand the abolishment of the law#309 which allows our wages to belowered by 50%!"

Many workers who worked in thisauto plant during Soviet times

explained to the young generationworkers what they had at the timewhen they worked at this Togliattiplant - free living quarters, a car,free telephone, free health care, freeschooling for their children and onemonth holidays.

OMON police were sent herefrom across Russia and surroundedthe striking demonstrators.

SOVIET ANTHEM AUTHOR DIESAT 96

On August 27, 2009 the Soviet eraauthor of children's books and poet,Sergei Mikhailov, who wrote thelyrics to the Soviet National Anthemdied at the age of 96.

In 1943, at the height of theSecond World War, the CC CPSUcommissioned a new anthem andSergei Mikhailov wrote the words tothe music by Alexander Alexandrovand it was first performed in January

of 1944. This hymn was sung notonly in the USSR, but also over theworld - because the words andmusic uplifted hearts and patriotismto the USSR and Socialism.

Unfortunately Sergei Mikhailov,for whatever reason undertook thejob given to him by Putin, to rewritethe Soviet Anthem and eliminate themention of Stalin in the SovietAnthem. This new version wasadopted in 2001 under pressure bythe bourgeois state of Russia. Andfor that service of demeaning the

Soviet Anthem, Putin gave Mikhailovthe "Order for Service to theFatherland"- even though Mikhailovreceived two Soviet highest medalsfor his work.

IF YOU LET THEM, THEY WILLDO IT!

According to the Russian ZvezdaTV Reports - the Russian customofficers at the Zabaykalsk highwaycheckpoint adjacent to China's townof Manzhouli, have arrested aChinese man attempting to smugglea Russian SU-27 combat militaryaircraft engine components to China.The Chinese man said that this wasfor "a friend who grows rice inChina."

These components for the multi-role, highly maneuverable, all-weather fighter-interceptor, werefound in the trunk of his vehicle. TheRussian authorities are stillsearching foe the source of thestolen aircraft components. TheChinese man facers 7 years inprison.

RUSSIA'S ECONOMIC CRISIS

Even the most optimistic Russiananalysts claim that the country willneed at least 5 years to fully recoverfrom the economic crisis. No onebelieves that the GDP will grow in2010, because the demand for oil isat a historic low. Besides all of this,Russia's un-diversified economy(relying only on oil and gas) they willcontinue to suffer badly.

January and May of 2009.Because the present Putin-

Medvedev regime is hoping toconvince Kyghyzstan to allow it tohave a military base there, sinceUnited States has one of the biggestmilitary base in this Central AsianState.

CHINA ACCUSSES RUSSIA

According to China's People'sDaily newspaper in August 8, 2009,the Chinese Government is raisingconcerns over the treatment ofChinese nationals in Russia. Arecent raid by Russia's FederalImmigration Service in theCherkizovsky Market near Moscow,led to the seizure of over 150Chinese for various immigration andtrade violations. China is demandingof Russia a more sympathetictreatment of its nationals.

China urged Russia to protectChinese businessmen's interests inRussia.

APPEAL FROM LITHUANIAOF GROWTH OF FASCISM

On June 9, 2009, the Parliament ofLithuania gave approval to the PenalCode of Lithuania, which will

criminalize any public approval orjustification that was committed by"communism and fascism." ThisPenal Code will also charge anyperson that denounces the actions ofthe "Lithuanian Freedom FightMovement", who during the years1944-1945 were fighting withweapons, together with the GermanNazi Army against the Sovietliberation Red Army. Anyoneconvicted will face at least 3 years injail.

These Lithuanian members weretrained and armed by the retreatingGerman Army and were Nazicollaborators all through the war andterrorized civilians after the SecondWorld War was over.

The International Council forFriendship and Solidarity with SovietPeople and Northstar Compasscondemns this new Penal Code asnothing more than the glorification offascism and, we have sent a protestto the Lithuanian Government. Weurge all our readers to also do so!

IS RUSSIA-GEORGIA CONFLICTHEATING UP?

According to news dispatchesreceived before NSC went to press,President Medvedev said thatGeorgian actions now, including theirtroop build-up on the borders of twoseparatist regions of Georgia.

We sang the International and theHymn of the Soviet Union, and otherpatriotic Soviet sings. This forced thecity sponsored event to shut off theirmicrophone until we finished singing,since many of there people started tosing these Soviet songs with us.

THE USSR HISTORY FROM FAMILY PHOTO-ALBUMS 1960-1970'SThe pictures from the Soviet family albums, of the so-called "stagnation" period. Most people called it "well

developed socialism" and these photos eternalize those particular moments. The people were just as we seethem in these photographs.

Maybe the most remarkable characteristic of the Soviet society that distinguished it from other ones, was thecommon certainty that "tomorrow will be better than yesterday". This feeing was shared by almost everybody. Theachievements of this new society looked unbelievable: the world leadership in Space, nuclear energy andeducation. People dreamt of the Space highways that were achievable. The USSR boys were usually aware ofsuch things as a "white dwarf", neutron star, a black hole, and every second boy was dreaming to make a careeras a Space pioneer - not a Banker. Next year-Yuri Gagarin would become the first man in space.

Almost in every family somebody had passed away because of the War; many lost some members of theirfamily during this Great Patriotic War. In our section of the apartment building there were 5 living veterans out ofthe 15 families. All of them were 50 years or over. The whole building contained 50 veterans out of 100 families.

On May 9th, Victory Day, everyone used to go out into the court yard. Veterans and the jingling of their SovietMedals. After that they went with flowers to the Soldiers Cemetery to pay their respects. It was a family day andthey did not invite guests, Russians do not like to show off things like that. My father did not like to talk about thewar; but on Victory Day he talked about how things were at that time - the Kursk Tank Battle - the Dnieper RiverCrossing.

Later on the propaganda was ongoing as to how "every family had some one in jail". Then it was "the victims ofStalin's repressions" and these so called "victims" almost always got promoted or rose higher in the ranks ofgovernment structures after 1953. But every time we found out that there were very few so-called "innocentvictims". In our apartment there was maybe one person out a hundred families living in the apartment.

Later as perestroika came along, this feeling started to fade away, notbecause of the meaning on these days, but because of the deceitfulness of those revisionist "communist" bozosand the grandstanding. It had nothing to do with the commemoration. People wanted these events to be as theywere before.

The present Western storytellers explaine to everyone that the former Soviet people had nothing to dress theirchildren.Above you see a 6-year old boy in 1967 going to play hockey as a goal keeper, all alone without any fear of beingmolested or kidnapped as is unfortunately the case in capitalist countries. And what is surprising is that the "freepeople" of the worlds' community accept this by saying that is the way things are and cannot be changed. But inthe USSR things like that were inconceivable - like cannibalism of some jungle tribes. Children were growing upsomatically and spiritually healthy; they were not turned into zombies by the constant "stupidity TV machine" andthe war-games and killings of the video games.

They always learned new approaches and methods to teach their little students. Thechildren on the left photo are playing Grocery Store transaction in Moscow 1970's. These children do not lookbored - no playshooting, no gangsters, no guns or no space monsters. The kindergartens were either free or verycheap. It was not hard for parents to bring up the children. Their mother could have worked or going to school,while the children were educated and fed by professionals.

The USSR had the best publiceducation in the world. This wasprecisely standardized system ofmandatory schooling. There wereno private schools to bring up thestudents in a snobbish class attitude.That is why the West is nowchanging to a so-called "skill orientedTechnology. Do not think; just dowhat the boss or your TV tells you.That is why most Canadian schoolsdo not cover the math theorem.

That is why this Soviet "EvilEmpire" paid a lot of attention to theability to think, to hypothesize, to themind and physical perfection. Hardlyany other people in the world had thegreat variety of world literaturemasterpieces in front of them and avery profound knowledge of worldhistory.

The Soviet socialist project fromits very beginning was designed toachieve the maximum possibledevelopment of every person. Ofcourse not everything was possibleto achieve in the short historicalterm, especially taking into accountthe very low starting point of theCzar's Russia (but now our anti-

Soviet politicians are so nostalgicabout it now). The Soviet educationwas built on the ability to see thebest features in everyone. On theone hand, it is excellent, but on theother hand, it may lead to a lack ofthe perceptional. adequacy.Sometimes we saw people betterthan they actually were.

The start of revisionism in theCPSU in late 1980's was a preludeto selling the country away to ourenemies. But this Officer speaking tothe Soviet school children inGermany believes in the song thatwas sung by the Red Army:"We have trodden across the halfof the Planet! If necessary, we willnot fail to repeat!"

But our "best friends" that are sofond of '•spreading democracy" knowthat changes are coming. That iswhy they are screaming about the"Soviet threat!"

It is obvious to a normal personthat "its better to be sergeant in anEmpire, rather than be a king in afigurehead state."

However now in Russia, apipsqueak ranked as a "KGB Major"

with a nickname "rat-cub" (nicknameof Vladimir Putin), who served in thesame location a little later on inGermany; the head of the localofficers' club; will adhere to theopposite opinion.

We the Soviets must have hadsome gaps in our education system,in spite of our very highachievements. How come that someof these cute kids pictured developedlater on into traitors and scoundrelslike this? At which of our steps didthis happen? Of course they were aminority, but it was enough to dowhat is now a fact.

Yes it is a good lesson for all of us,though very cruel and bitter!

The Young Pioneer Camps (a summer camp) was free for all parents. These camps were well organized andlocated in beautiful natural surroundings, on lakes, or on the Black Sea for relaxation and education. Sports, laborand extra curricular activities of all kinds were organized. Nobody in the world at that time had such camps forchildren. Now everyone recalls these pioneer camps, but now they are only for those who can afford to pay!

The Soviet growth rate in turning an agrarian country into an industrial giant has never been fully recorded inworld history before. As a result of trade embargoes and non-cooperation by capitalist countries, the USSR had tostart the process of industrialization by itself in order to meet the present threat and the forthcoming WW II whichthe Soviet Government knew that it was being planned and coming.

It was the 1920s when about 80-90% of population resided in towns and villages. By 1970s the citiespopulation increased by about 60%. The Soviet Central Asian Republics were less urbanized than otherrepublics. Despite the great work efficiency in agriculture due to mechanization and fertilization, it still required alot of manual work for harvesting. It was not affordable to just have seasonal workers who would practcally stayidle for 9 months per year. In the cold climate in Russia, there is only one harvest per year. Russian climatealways required extensive farming areas and efficiency of agricultural work in that severe climate. The results willalways be lower in harvesting results as opposed to somewhere further south in the country.

It was the correct decision to use some urban workers to harvest crops where there was still no machinery onthe collective farms. There should have been more agitation to make the city worker resources available to help inharvesting the crops. It was not good for an urban dweller to only watch where his daily food comes from. Byspending a relatively short time in the field, an urban resident was getting a significant money return: all winterprices of food were fairly low. Thus an average urban day salary would buy about 1000kg of potatoes; more than80 loafs if bread and about 32 L. of milk.

None of the judicious people viewed a farm trip as a tragedy— moreover — for most of us it was great! As formyself, I liked this a lot as a school boy as well as a University student. However, there are still people whocannot forgive the USSR for making them dirty their hands!

Camping. Moscowsuburbs-1960sThis was before, to relaxand have fun. Todaythese forests and woodsare occupied by the so-called "New Russians"and their villas andcastles. They stoletomorrow from us and ourchildren today. When youlook at the top left photo,the comparison betweenthen and now comes toyour mind spontaneously.

One was free to ride thousands km across our giant country. Thehighway police of those days never demanded bribes as they do now.The Russians of our day can hardly believe that this is happening.

Moscow 1970s

We are always told that the"stores were always empty of all foodproducts and shortages. I rememberwell that we could buy pre-cookedfood or semi-cooked products instores or at the market. In themarket it was a little more expensivethan in the stores. There wasalways meat, chicken and frozenfish. I am not talking only aboutMoscow- but I used to live in afew different cities and my parentswere not in the Soviet managementpositions. The shortages appearedin 1990s and it looked like a well-prepared sabotage by thatrevisionist leadership.

Yes, it was one of our typicalapartment interiors of workers. Myfriends and I resided in much thesame apartments. The bookshelvesI mounted myself on our wall in1980s - I was 14 years old then.The antenna was from anothersystem, but the lamp hanging fromthe ceiling was very similar. The TVwe had since 1970s was not colorbut black and white.

Those two boys on top left photo are obviously from the Asian part of theUSSR. In the Soviet Union the people from those Soviet Republics hadno need to become illegal immigrants and to go away from their homesto build mansions for the present Rich Russian elite. They had theirnormal and happy life where they lived. Their culture is very family-oriented.

During the Soviet times to discriminate and be racist towards theseSoviet people from these Republics was inconceivable. It was alsoinconceivable during Soviet times that some of the present semi-criminal"cops" would stop them at the entrance to the subway and to squeeze abribe out of them. I'm not even talking about taking those people to thepolice station and torturing them there. During the time of the USSR thePolice job was respectful and honest people were very respectful ofthem.

Our Asian compatriots - Uzbeks, Kirghizes and Tadjiks were comingto Moscow as tourists to see and show their children the Red Square,Moscow University and Moscow Subway. With time these Soviet citizensand well-educated from Central Asia and from the Caucasus settled indifferent areas and considered themselves as Soviet people

The Mountain Scientific Station of Meteorologists and GlacierologistsOf the USSR ran an extensive research work to predict and to preventthese natural cataclysms. This included such dangerous and non-studiedphenomena as earthquakes, snow-slides and seasonal flooding. Theseproblems were studied in conjunction with geologists, geographers,mathematicians and physicists.

THE SOVIET MILITARY OATH -

" I am the citizen of the Union ofSoviet Socialist Republics, enteringthe rows of the Armed Forcesuttering this oath and I swearsolemnly to be honest, brave,disciplined and vigilant warrior, tokeep strictly the military and Statesecrets, to follow unquestionably themilitary statutes and the order of mycommanders. I swear to learndiligently the military science, toprotect the Army's and people'sproperty and to be faithful till myvery last breath to my People, to mySoviet Fatherland and to my SovietGovernment.I I am always ready tostay and protect my Fatherland -the Union of Soviet SocialistRepublics and, as a soldier of theArmed Forces, I swear to protect itwith fortitude, skillfully and withhonor, not sparing my blood and myvery life to achieve the victory overthe enemies. In case I break thissolemn oath I utter - let the severejudgment of the Soviet State law beupon me as well as everybody'shate and contempt."

Compare this to the presentcontemporary oath of this"democratic Russia":

"In case I break my military oath,I am ready to accept the legalconsequences, as defined by thelegislation of the RussianFederation."

Soviet Uzbekistan from s semi-feudal country was turned into awell-developed and agrarianrepublic. Ultra modern powerplantswere built. Natural gas and oil fieldswere discovered and surroundingthese new plants new cities werebuilt — Chirchick, Bekabad, andKattakurgan.

The devastation of WW II wasovertaken by the middle of 1970s.Now the USSR was safely protectedby the nuclear shield. Now themoney was used to build and buildapartment buildings all over thecountry for the people.

Every mini district was pre-planned before being built. It had tohave a school, kindergarten, stores,barber shops, public transport andparks. You could not evict anyonefrom these new apartments

TIKHONOV GEORGE

On March 28, 2009 when he was 76years old The Soviet people lost oneof their best sons, Georgi IvanovichTikhonov.

His body was found in his burntdown home on the near outskirts ofMoscow.

All of his life was devoted to servethe USSR and the Soviet people inbuilding Socialism. After the collapseof the USSR, all of his energies weretowards the resurrection of theUSSR and Socialism.

He was an Honored Soviet EnergyEngineer who was born on March18, 1934. He passed with Honors theMoscow Institute of Engineers ofrailways and he also finished theAgricultural Academy. He was arenowned specialist in theconstruction of Hydro-electricalStations, not only in the USSR, butalso in many countries of the world.

From 1981 to 1984 he was DeputyMinister of Energy of the USSR, thenhe became the Chief of all Hydro-Stations in the Soviet Union.

He was three times elected to theSupreme Soviet in Tadjikistan SSR.In 1989 he was elected as Deputy tothe Supreme Soviet of the USSR. Hewas also Elected to the RussianDuma after the collapse of theUSSR.Comrade Tikhonov was one of the

founders of the Soviet Society forFriendship with Foreign Countries, apartner of the International Councilfor Friendship and Solidarity withSoviet People. He was also its FirstPresident.

BRITISH ARMY HASPROBLEMS IN RECRUITINGTO ITS RANKSFrom PROLETARIAN

In the last 10 years BritishImperialism has been unsuccessfullyseeking to bring its total armystrength up to 102,000 regularpersonnel, recruiting those agedbetween 16 and 26 (Britain is theonly EU state that recruits 16-yearold child soldiers, with an astoundingone third of the recruits being under18). Merely to maintain its currentlevel of troops, the army must recruitsome 20,000 new soldiers each yearto replace those that are leaving.

The retention rate would be evenworse if soldiers were not expectedto sell themselves for years. Newrecruits may opt out in the first threemonths, but the option for them toleave is than closed for four years.

Because of the anti-Iraq warmovement started in 2004 andgrowing, it is discouraging youngpeople to have a "career" in thearmed forces. But because of thecurrent economic recession andunemployment, it seems that therecruitment is growing -especially inpoor areas.

THE PLOT AGAINSTAMERICA

You will use electric lights thatdo not often work in Gaza, becauseIsrael blocks fuel needed to runGaza's electrical grid. The truth is that Israel lets in lessthan 20% of the ordinary suppliesneeded in Gaza, and allows noreconstruction materials whatsoeverto enter. As a consequence, over96% of all industries have collapsed,creating massive unemployment andpoverty. The purpose of this Israelblockade is to punish and to breakan entire people. Collectivepunishment is strictly forbiddenunder international law, yet itremains Israel's primary policy inregard to the Palestinian people.

President Obama you have basedyour political career on what youcalled "audacity of hope" - the faiththat each one of us, individually orcollectively can change things for thebetter. CIA'S BLACK SITES -ILLUMINATED

The secret overseas CIA "blacksites" where it conducted theinterrogations are empty now, if notalready dismantled. They werenever allowed to be examined by theUS Congressional Committee norallowed to be inspected by theInternational Red Cross. The blacksites not only imprisoned men butreduced them to near hopeless stateof body and mind.

The prisoners arrival at the blacktorture site, - all arrivals had to weardiapers. After being shaved, strippednaked, photographed, they were,examined by the CIA's medical staffas to how long they would be able toendure torture and psychologicalinterrogation. If they did notcooperate or confess, they weredeprived of food, clothes and sleep.

Then they would be forced to standstill with their back to the wall and atowel tied around the neck to"prevent" whiplash. He is thenthrown against the wall once and ifthere is no confession he can bethrown violently against the wall 20-30 times. After that the prisonerwould be forced to kneel on hisknees for hours on end in order toavoid being thrown against the wallagain and again.

A CIA memo of December 30,2004 came to light now whichoutlines all other torture methods thatare allowed to be used."

Korea thatliberated itself from the colonial ruleof Japan in the mid 20th century, wasnot a defeated country in the war andnobody in Korea requestedinterference or help from outsiders.However, US occupied our countryinstead of Japan, defeated in WW II,to dominate the Korean Peninsulalocated in this geopolitical area. Thiswas the crime that violatedinternational laws and instituted theinternational law and imposed terroron the independent state.

U.S. did not accept the proposalby the USSR which helped to defeatJapan. The US was worried aboutlosing the opportunity to interfere inKorea, and pushed for a"Split occupation plan" that dividedthe surrounded Japanese Army inKorea into two parts, along the 38th

parallel. This divided Korea into theNorth and South in August of 1945,when the Korean People'sRevolutionary Army and the USSRRed Army started an all out attackagainst the Japanese occupationalarmy, after Germany was defeatedand Japan was suing for peace.

On September 8, 1945, over45,000 US troops landed in SouthKorea. The disarming of theJapanese Army was just a pretext tojustify the occupation, because one

month had already passed after thesurrender of Japan and the Koreanpeople already had organized inKorea all the administrative bodies -People's Committees were set up incity, township and provinces in all ofKorea. But this was not to the likingof US President Truman and his"General Order No. 1".

US Command under direct ordersfrom Truman refused the Sovietproposal that all foreign troopsshould be withdrawn from theKorean Peninsula. The USoccupation troops dissolved allelected people's committees thatwere already set up all across Koreaand started to suppress all theprogressive organizations andarresting its leaders.

The ambitions of the US were todivide Korea and thus establish abridgehead in their plans for the NewWorld Order. The following was inthe official report by US GeneralWedemeyer: " The emergence of aunified, independent democraticKorea would in the future be agreat threat to the US strategicinterests in the Far East.Therefore, in order to guaranteethe best interests of the UnitedStates, there is no alternative butto occupy south Korea,"

In 1948, ignoring the desire of thewhole of Korean nation to build aunified and legal government inKorea, the US set up a pro-American "Government " in southKorea and thus provoked the KoreanWar in order to try and dominate thewhole of the Korean Peninsula.

US has turned south Korea intothe largest nuclear arsenal in the FarEast Asia as well as the militarydomination of the region.

Today the withdrawal of the USoccupation troops from south Koreais the last relic of the Cold War andcannot be delayed any longer.

We hope that you who love justiceand peace will support the Koreanpeople in their struggles to withdrawthe US troops from south Korea andto achieve peace and thereunification of the country in thefuture.

GLARING GLICHES ANDUNTRUTHS IN BOOK:"Richness of the Jewishpast, present and future."

affiliate of the Smithsonian, is also apartner of other prestigious researchorganizations on the Jewish historyand culture, immigration, theSephardic Jews, plus otherEuropean authors who did researchfor this book. But omitted in thisbook is the question of the NaziHolocaust - there were otherHolocausts as well, not only inEurope but in Israel as well. Why?

Because the research anddissemination of these findings werenot informed by particular politicalmovements, organizations orindividuals that affected the fightagainst German fascism or thequestion of the establishment of a"Jewish Homeland.

Presentation of a pro-Marxist,Communist or pro-Palestinianperspectives were nowhere to befound in this book. We were notinformed by these scholars andresearchers of Jewish history andculture, for instance that very manyof the Herbert Baum ResistanceGroup in the German, Berlinunderground from the years 1937-1942 were Communists andMarxists. We don't see any mentionof those courageous "prematureanti-fascists" that offered their liveswith the International Brigades inSpain, including the Jews in theErnst Thaellman Battalion. Whereare the references to ClaraLemmlich Shavelson, a Communistthat spoke on the sound-trucks inBrooklyn NY, USA in Yiddish andEnglish? Or Puline Newman andRose Finkelstein were also notmentioned and omitted.

What about the numerous SovietJewish Officers and Generals thathelped with the Soviet Red Army toliberate these concentration camps!

Also, isn't it a huge moralobligation by these learnedresearchers and writers withunlimited financial resources to tell

the world that there were very uglyepisodes that affected the Jews inthe US and abroad, but also thedisastrous effect on non-Jews aswell - political, economic and social-that of poverty, oppression,exploitation and other evils.

Many of these individual Jews thatwere close to these political rulersalso helped to draw up or implementthose strategic objectives already inplace.

A good example would be thequestion of Zionism that wasformulated by Weizman, Herzel andBen Gurion. They formulated a veryracist perspective of the "Chosen"but also the slogan: " A LandWithout A People - A PeopleWithout Land - the Jews" (as ifPalestine had no human beingsliving there!).

Many Jewish neo-conservatives inthe US served several Presidents forthe outcome of civil wars andrevolutionary struggles that these USpresidents did not like - such as thesuccessful attempt by Secretary ofState Henry Kissinger, who with thehelp of the Israeli-CIA or the Mossadhelped to overthrow thedemocratically elected President ofChile, Salvatore Allende.

Another one was Elliot Abrams(convicted by US Court of war crimesin the Iran-Contra scandal). Thenthere was Richard Perle who servedthree US presidents as a SpecialSecurity Advisor - his idea gotadopted to train Latin AmericanDeath Squads that were trained byUSA in the School of Americas.

More recent in helping USImperialism are Douglas Feith andIrving Scooter Libby.

Any analyses underpinningresearch, conclusions, ordocumentation of history and cultureof any people cannot be neutral orobjective in abstract. Even of what toinclude or omit is a partisan act.Exploring this giant project t suchas Jewish History and Culture or anyother people's history and culture,must be explored to the fullest extentthat is possible - including itscontradictions.

The 21st century is a period ofavalanche-like increases of criticalproblems on Earth. Firstly, the crisisof the capitalist system and thedepletion of nonrenewable resourcesas a result of capitalistic greed andexploitation of nature. It has becomeobvious that the dominant social andeconomic structure directly threatensnot only the progress of mankind, butalso raises the question of its futureexistence. Striving to ensure thecontinuation of its rule, capitalismhas practically stopped the humanprogress, as further progress posesa direct threat to the existence of thecapitalist ruling clique.

Mankind, halted in its evolution, ispractically awaiting its death from a

global, natural or artificialcatastrophe, which is bound tohappen sooner or later. Capitalismand its consumerist society havealready brought us face to face withone of these catastrophes - theexhaustion of the world's resources.

Most probable is the scenario of the"Golden billion's" domination of allother countries and nations, thecontinuing depletion of worldresources, and then a final downfallof human civilization as a result of anirreversible economic and ecologicalcollapse of the planet. From its greedand thirst for power, the capitalistelite is dragging itself and the wholeworld into a grave.

Because of this, mankind must solve3 interrelated, extremely complicatedproblems in order to live in the future.Firstly, global problems relating tothe crisis of exhaustion of resources(wars, epidemics, starvation,energetic collapses). Secondly, itmust master super-powerfultechnologies on both planetary andcosmic scale in order to counterglobal threats. Finally it must, bycosmic expansion and settlement,drastically decrease the likelihood ofdestruction of mankind from apossible space disaster, as well asgain access to inexhaustible spaceresources.

In the present, the nearest and mostdangerous problem is the globalcrisis, to which the capitalist systemhas brought us.

Tasks of this scale can only beachieved by socialism, directedtowards knowledge, humanperfection, and scientific andtechnological advance. Such wasthe first in the world socialist society,the USSR. A Society of cooperationand solidarity of citizens, which was

based on mutual aid in solving eventhe most complex problems, and theabsence of direct competition. USSRwas destroyed because of errorscommitted by its governing body inthe second half of the 20 century,the absence of experience in buildinga new society, and the activestruggle against it by the world'scapitalist system

The experience of the USSRpresents an extraordinary value forbuilding a socialist society in thefuture. Based on the experience ofUSSR and the successful experienceof the first socialist society, there willbe built the future of mankind.

It is obvious that it the state ofcompetition between counties,organizations, nations, businesscorporations and the peoplethemselves, a solution to any ofthese global tasks cannot bereached, since they require amaximum social coordination andunity of effort. "Market Economy"cannot be compatible with neitherthe aims of survival, nor the well-being of the global population, noreven with achieving basic socialequity.

This means that all nations, if theywish to survive, must convert to asociety of mutual aid andcooperation. Socialism is a society ofcooperation and effort concentrationfor the achievement of the highesthuman goals, and not of competitionand consumption, on which moderncapitalism is based

The future mankind simply can't benon-socialistic, or, very soon, therewon't be any mankind left. From anelementary analysis of the currentglobal situation, it is obvious that theconservation of capitalism and thesurvival of the human civilization areincompatible.

The Reasons of the Global Crisis

The main idea of the western modelof society (capitalism) is in themaximization of the capitalists' profitin conditions of expanding andunrestrained consumption, whichcause a constant necessity in newmarket outlets. In historicalmeasures, this is only possible for ashort time - several centuries in thecase of western military dominationand a constant inflow of externalresources.

The Western model originated inconditions of robbery and genocideof entire nations and even continents- North and South America,Australia, India, China, Arabiancountries, African nations and etc. Allthis was accompanied by slave tradeand excessive use of slave laborboth on the territory of the West andin its conquered colonies. Withoutexaggerating, one can state that thewestern countries, have robbed theentire planet.

The capitalist world is clearly dividedinto 2 extremely unequal parts: The"Golden Billion", and the"Peripherals". The "Golden Billion"are Western countries and Japan,where the Western Capitalist systemdominates, leaching off theperipherals. The other countries, withthe so-called peripheral capitalistsystem, make up the "Third World".(The Soviet Union was called the"Second World").

The West currently consumes theabsolute majority of the world'snatural resources, which areacquired by them at prices clearlydecreased by tens or even hundredsof times. If the whole world began toconsume resources at the same rateas America, the world's resourceswould run out in 10 to 15 years.

The essence of capitalism and itsmain principle, is parasitism, or, as itis mildly called, the exploitation ofman by man. It's parasitism of somepeople on other people, some socialgroups on other social groups, somecountries and civilizations on othercountries and civilizations.Parasitism is based on an unequalexchange between the parasite andthe victim, the parasite receivingmuch more than it would in a fair

exchange. This is made possible bythe parasite's organizational, military,economical and propagandistic(manipulative) strength.

There is not, and there never was afair and equal competition on theworld markets - the rules ofexchange are put in place by robbersand bandits. Unequal trade betweencountries is and was based oncontrol of resources, key traderoutes, and raw military power.Firstly, the Western guns are put towork, and after the collapse of thevictim countries' structure the Westforms a crushing one-sided tradeagreement. As a result, defeatedcountries are cleaned out under thepretence of fair trade, while theWestern trading companies haveunthinkable benefits. Preciousmetals are bought for a pittance;natural resources and the best fertileland are given away for processing;the work of native inhabitants isbought for beggarly wages. Thisworld order has only one goal -robbery.

All this is covered up by an extremelysophisticated propaganda machine,created for disguising monstrouscrimes against humanity anddeceiving their victims. A mechanismof this scale for the manipulation ofsocial consciousness and theconcealment of truth isunprecedented in history. Capitalism,is a society of lies.

In their aims of acquiring maximumprofit, Western countries led colonialwars with unseen cruelty. Therewere always wars, but never werethey fought with such inhumanecruelty and cynicism. When theentire world was divided betweencolonizing nations, the West startedthe two most monstrous wars in thehistory of mankind, in order to dividethe world between the nations of theWest.

At the same time, capitalist countriespurposely wipe out nations and(civilizations), which, theoretically,might be able to resist their power inthe future. The purpose of World War2 was not just the division of theworlds' resources, but also anattempt to destroy a competingcivilization - the USSR.

The basis of Western civilization andthe so-called "capitalism" is theprinciple of unrestrained expansionof markets. However, there will sooncome a time when there will be noroom to expand, and there will be noone to rob - the planet would haveliterally "run out". The West has notonly robbed other nations, it's robbedits own planet, wasting thenonrenewable resources stored forbillions of years.

History has shown that the Westernmodel of society is just not capableto support the progress of humanity.Furthermore, it condemns theoverwhelming majority of mankind topoverty, starvation, sorrow,degradation and finally deathbecause the main drawback ofcapitalism - parasitism (unequalexchange) and its human-hatingideology.

It has become obvious thatcapitalism is not a necessary stageof evolution for any civilization.Furthermore, it is a dead end in theevolution of mankind. This wasproven by the experience of theUSSR - the first planned society inhistory, which was aimed at not(maximum) profit, but thedevelopment of mankind andscientific and technological progress.It proved in practice that there canexist socio-economic systems that byfar exceed capitalism in botheffectiveness and humanity.

Capitalism has not only shown itselfto be much less effective thansocialism, but has also led the entireworld into a fatal crisis. It is evidentthat the capitalist system hascollapsed not only economically, butalso socially, politically andideologically.

All the countries who have rejectedsocialism have abruptly worsenedboth their political and economicsituation. They now stand on thepath of degradation and nationalcatastrophe, having demonstratedthe ineffectiveness of the capitalistway.

The reason for the resourceexhaustion crisis and all relatedcrises is the greed of capitalistsystem. The only way out is asocialistic remodelling of society.

The Development Perspectives ofWestern Capitalism

Capitalism was the initiator of thescientific and technical revolution,having created the modern technicalworld. But this socio-economicsystem soon became an obstacle toits own scientific progress, whichwas beginning to threaten the rule ofcapitalism.

Having understood that the downfallof capitalism is inevitable, but fearinglosing their power and being put tojustice for the crimes they committed,the elite of the capitalist countriesdevised a plan for their survival. Thisplan in, essence, consists of"stopping history" - bringing progressto a complete standstill, andaltogether freezing the developmentof society. This would be achievedwith the use of already developedtechnologies of manipulation, andwould ensure their sole andundivided control of society.

A simple analysis of the consumptionrate of the planets' non-renewableresources shows, that if capitalismcontinues to exist, it is likely to end ina fatal catastrophe for the wholeworld in the very near future - within30-40 years.

Attempting to put off its fall into afatal crisis, Western capitalismstrengthens its exploitation of "thirdworld" countries, especially thecountries of the former Soviet block.The capitalist economic systemrequires a constant excess ofresources not just for itsdevelopment, but for its basicsurvival.

This process will result in anincrease of suffering and hundreds ofmillions of deaths in the countriesrobbed by the "Golden Billion". Thiswill happen because the West wouldtake the vital resources necessaryfor the physical survival of hundredsof millions of people. The west willhave to literally throw all othercountries and nations in a living hell,dooming them to starvation andpoverty.

Simultaneously, all resources andchances of development will betaken from countries that arepotential competitors. The situation

will be even worse in countries with aharsh climate. This especiallyconcerns Russia. The continuation ofWestern robbery will inevitably bringthe death of the absolute majority ofthe population of this country.

The specific characteristics of the"New World Order", which willbecome dominant in the nearestdecades, have already beendetermined. They are: the division ofthe world into two parts: a smallgroup of relatively well-off countries,surrounded by an ocean of povertyand suffering, with the Western elitebeing at the very top of this pyramid.Any resistance will be overpoweredwith military force and specialoperations, which would be carriedout with the help of local traitors.

Because of the constant depletion ofresources, the level of consumptionof even the "Golden Billion" willslowly (so as not cause socialtension) but surely decrease. Thehyper-consumption of the Westernworld will soon end forever.

If this scenario continues to developand the western mono-culture willcontinue to expand, the globalsociety will, given time, transforminto a frozen society, one aboutwhich warned I. Efremov - a globalfascist society of monopolizedcapitalism, with the elite havingabsolute power. Any progress anddevelopment will come to an end,and bring the so-called "end ofhistory".

In the end, after an irreversibleeconomical degradation andecological collapse of the entiresystem, the final death of humancivilization will occur.

Only following the path of the USSRcan save the countries and nationsunder the threat of the Westernglobalistic project.

The Ideological Basis of ModernCapitalism

The ideological model ofcapitalism is based on theoveremphasis of money (capital) andthe constant increase of its amount(profit). Under capitalism, money andcapital are the main values.Obviously, that in this system itwould be ideal not just to make profit,

but to make maximum profit.

"Monopolistic capitalism requires notjust any profit, but specificallymaximum profit. This will be the mainlaw of modern capitalism."

" The main characteristics andrequirements of the main economiclaw of modern capitalism could beformulated as follows: ensuringmaximum profit through exploitation,deceit and impoverishment of themajority of the population of a givencountry through the complete controland systematical robbery of thepeople of the country in question,and especially undevelopedcountries. Finally, maximum profitcan be obtained thorough, with warsand the militerization of nationalproperty. (J. Stalin)

Since capitalism overemphasizesmoney, it is a principally inhumanesystem. This is obvious; if the mainvalue is monetary profit, theneverything else has lesser values.Human lives, relationships, morals,and the environment - all aresacrificed for maximum profit.

From this overemphasis of moneyand profit follows the main capitalisticanalytical criteria of everything in theworld - "economical effectiveness". Itis a measure of generating maximumprofit at minimal expense usingpractically any means necessary.Thus, from this point of view, theoptimal model of operation isparasitism. Furthermore, from thepoint of view of capitalistic ideology,parasitism is in no way consideredunjust, it is instead consideredsuccessful - parasitism isexceptionally optimal in itsrelationship between profit andexpense. Under capitalism, respectedand praised businessmen are thosewho have been able to make afortune through dirty affairs and yethave not broken any formal laws,even if in doing so they have brokenalmost all thinkable moral laws. Ancapitalistic role model is not a creatorand inventor, but a stock player, who,with minimal efforts, makes millions ina few minutes. In any traditionalsociety, these people would beshunned and dishonoured.

The parasite, of course, must be an

exceptional individualistexceptionally greedy, always trying toget the most out of surroundingpeople, at the same time trying to givethe least.

In its race for maximum profit,capitalism never could, and inprincipal cannot provide socialeffectives for all citizens on a levelthat is fit for human life.

To avoid a socialistic revolutionand at the same time to ideologicallycompete with the exceptionally highsocial attraction towards the USSR,the capitalistic elite of the "GoldenBillion" had to share with the workingclass some of the goods it robbedfrom the "third world", and to createfor its people a transformed image ofcapitalism, one that was moreattractive than the socialistic projectof the USSR. The Western elite hadto copy many of USSR's socialachievements - pension funds, sickdays, an improved public health caresystem, shorter work hours and soon. But for a sensible person itremains obvious that this is just acover up - these are just second-rateimprovements that do not and cannotcancel out all the weaknesses of acapitalistic society.

To counter this, the elite initiated anintense degradation of its people,using tools of mass manipulation thatwere specifically created for thispurpose. All large sources of massmedia were monopolized by thegovernment elite. This was, inessence, the creation of a newpsychologically-informationalweapon. It helped the West tosurvive during the Cold War, butused up a huge amount ofresources, and caused thedegradation and destruction of thetraditional society, which in turncaused a rapid decrease in thehuman potential of capitalistcountries.

Material production was exportedfrom the Western countries intocountries with a warm climate and acheap work force, all for thereduction of cost. In order to maintainthe ideological image of the Westerneconomical model and the relativelyhigh level of consumption, the Westcreated a virtual economy. Thiseconomy is based on the so called"Production of Services - about 70%of US work force produce services.

But all of this is a bluff - theproduction of services is not thepost-industrial world, it is the pre-industrial world.

The destruction of the USSRhappened too late for the West. Itused up too much of its resources inits struggle against the USSR.Furthermore, a number of (countries)understood the fatality of capitalismand began building a socialistic orhybrid society. The attempt of"burying the idea of socialism" didnot succeed.

With the destruction of theUSSR, the probability of publicdisturbances decreased abruptly.However, the resource exhaustioncrisis makes it impossible to maintainthe former high standard of livingwhich was used to bribe the westernnations. Because of this, theWestern elite will gradually decreasethe standard of living for its people,and attempt to control the situationthrough the use of manipulativetools.

One of the most essentialproblems that the architects of theglobalist plan had to solve was howto degrade the majority of the peopleto a state of pure consumption andcorruption. Since the main forcebehind cultural and social progress isthe human society, the goal of thecapitalist elite is to destroy the social(inter-human and inter-social)relations between people in order tomake a united resistance impossible.In such a state, a person does notconcern himself with anything but thefulfillment of his biological needs, isunable to follow moral and ethicalnorms, and is completely incapableof purposeful self-development andcritical analysis of the surroundingworld.

For this purpose, individualism ispromoted in every possible way.Individualism is based on the idea ofthe individual's personal interestbeing a complete priority over theinterests of others. Individualists areincapable of effectively uniting inorder to achieve common goals,since no-one is able to sacrifice theirpersonal interests for the commongood. In order to deceive the people,all significant goals and purposes arereplaced with the idea of "personalfreedoms", which free the personfrom morals and social responsibility.

A person in this system mayhave formal rights, but in reality he isnot capable of upholding them beforea more powerful individual who hasmore money and connections. Evenmore powerful are united groups,corporations, mafias, and so on. Withtime they capture political power, andthe separated citizens have nochances of resisting them.

Schools and other means ofpropaganda of the modern capitalistsociety purposefully create limitedand ambitious people, incapable ofsystematic thinking and reasoningand cooperation with others. Thisleads to the isolation of people fromeach other and deep feeling ofconstant loneliness. This feeling ofloneliness and psychologicaldamage resulting from destructivemanipulation are the main reasonsfor the catastrophically higher level ofsuicides and mental illnesses inWestern countries than in traditionalsocieties.

The ruling capitalistic elite ispurposefully upbringing the "ideologyof consumption" in its society. Thesocial status in such a society isdetermined by a person's level ofconsumption, and not their personalcharacteristics or accomplishments.Thus, if one person consumes morethan another, his social status ishigher. Accordingly, the higher thesocial status, the more the person issupposed to consume - he must buyexpensive houses, luxury types ofservices, clothing, cars, and etc.

This triggers an unrestrainedrace for consumption in the entiresociety, the levels of which have longago crossed all thinkable boundaries.In this race for consumption, itbecame common among the westernpeople to throw away anything that"went out of fashion", even though itstill works perfectly. In order toensure a faster replacement ofproducts, Western producers notonly use mass manipulativeadvertising, but also intentionallylower the quality of the products.

A person in a capitalistic societyconsumes more not because heproduces more products for thesociety, but because he gets morerights for unequal exchange.

He failedas a student again but began to thinkthat socialism is more lucrative. Hedid not discover socialism as anexploited worker but found asecretarial job in the Royal Albanianconsulate in Brussels in 1934.

The turbulence of WWII provideda new opportunity for young Hoxhawho had returned to Albania in 1936and set himself up in business,running a tobacco shop. His westernexperience and sophisticationoffered an enormous advantageamong his 90 % illiterate and 70%Islamic Albanian population and nonexistent working class. WhenMussolini invaded Albania in 1939and the country embraced fascism,Albania still did not have acommunist party. It was only inNovember 1941 that a handful ofcommunists founded the AlbanianCommunist Party and a year later in1942, however insignificant; theAlbanian National Liberation Frontwas founded. By virtue of Albania'sfascist loyalties and equal fascistsympathies among the Albanians inSerbia's province of Kosovo, Kosovoand Metohija were ceded to theItalian fascist and German Nazimasters and administered fromAlbania. Pogroms against theindigenous Serb population ofKosovo, Jews and Gypsies weresystematic and an exodus of Serbsfrom their own province was thinningout their numbers. The Albanians

have coveted that Serb provinceever since they converted to Islamunder the Ottoman Empire andthereby acquired a superior statusover the Christian Orthodox Serbs.Albanian expansionist designstowards their neighbours, were aconstant trait, be it under Islam,Fascism, Socialism or NATO today.While the majority of Albanianssupported their Nazi government,which even declared war on theUnited States in December1941,Enver Hoxha and his followers saw agreater opportunity in what maycome after the Nazi defeat. In 1943,Enver Hoxha entered into an alliancewith a right wing Albanian party andaccepted their platform of annexingYugoslav and Greek territories. "InAugust, a secret meeting was held atMukje between the Balli Kombe'tar(National Front), which was bothanti-Communist and anti-Fascist,and the Communist Party. The resultof this was an agreement to fighttogether against the Italians. While the Partisans in Yugoslaviawaged a determined and sustainedguerilla effort against the GermanNazis, the Albanian communistresistance had very little to show for.It is therefore no accident that thechain of command from theComintern in Moscow and EnverHoxha in Albania was viaYugoslavia. The orders from Moscowto Enver Hoxha were to maintain aunited front with Yugoslav partisansand achieve greatest possible gainsagainst the Nazi occupiers. Albanianappetites for foreign lands could notbe accommodated under thisscheme and Enver Hoxha had toabandon his alliance with theexpansionist Balli Combetar or riskconfrontation with the Comintern.The urge to keep the fascistoccupied Kosovo for Albania'scommunists was strong but notstrong enough to repudiateComintern instructions. A strategicdecision was then made to wait for

another opportunity. In themeantime, the Yugoslav communistpartisans have routed the Albanianfascists in Kososvo and restored it toYugoslavia's Serbia. Any Albaniancommunist contribution to theliberation of Kosovo from the Naziswas made within the Yugoslavpeoples' struggle to liberate thecountry and not with Albania'sparticipation. Albanian communistslagged in their efforts to liberate theirown country but found themselves ina favourable situation when Italycapitulated to the Allies in September1943. The Germans tried tointervene in Albania and replace theItalians but were tied down atStalingrad where the outcome of thewar was decided. The Germansabandoned these efforts and leftAlbania in November 1944. With thisemerging vacuum, Enver Hoxha andhis guerrillas thus took theopportunity and formed thegovernment of Albania. The People'sRepublic of Albania was proclaimedon 13 January 1946 and Hoxhaascended the posts of PrimeMinister, Minister of Foreign Affairsand the Defense Minister. Hisimmediate goal was to cleanse hisgovernment of pro Yugoslavcommunists and many Albaniancommunists were purged, evenexecuted. The outlines of Hoxa'sxenophobia had emerged muchearlier but upon ascending hisparamount political position. EnverHoxha ordered his people to producebabies, even though his nationdepended on socialist foodshipments to survive.

With dictatorial powers vested inhim, Enver Hoxha was wellpositioned to seek socialist aid for hisimpoverished country. As Europe'smost backward and primitive country,Albania received selfless help fromthe USSR and Yugoslavia, bothdevastated by war. "Albania wasreceiving substantial economic aidfrom the USSR. Before the end of1950 several thousand Soviettechnicians were at work on variousAlbanian projects..." Funk andWagnalls New Encyclopedia, Vol.1, 1972. Ungrateful for any of thathelp, Albania under Enver Hoxhahated its neighbours and began tocomplain that the aid was self-serving. internationalism. Hoxha was afraidthat his, practically monarchicdictatorial powers, would not standthe test in the socialist scheme ofthings. He was determined to remainthe dictator of Albania to the end ofhis life and the best way to achievethis was to stir up fears among hispeople. In that respect, whilecriticizing Tito, Hoxha was very muchlike Tito. Both these dictators usedsocialism for personalaggrandizement and perpetual holdon power which only ended whenthey died. Both, Tito and Hoxhacreated their ideological frameworksfor straying away from socialism,which they proclaimed to uphold.While Hoxha stayed with the SovietUnion and the socialist communitylonger than Tito and tried to exploitthe- situation for himself, he soondropped out of Socialism, just as fastas he had dropped out of universityin his younger years. A racist whohated Slavs of any politicalorientation, Hoxha could only stay inthe socialist camp while the aidpropped up his chauvinistic regime.His animosity for the Soviets wasveiled in political arguments andwhen the CPSU realized that Albaniais biting the hand that feeds it, theaid stopped. Enver Hoxha evenassumed the right to lecture from hisprimitive fiefdom how socialismshould be conducted in the land ofLenin and what kind of leaders theSoviet Union should have. Albaniabecame a hermit kingdom of

demagoguery and totalitariandictatorship, hostile to all. Driven byparanoia, Albania could not do morethan engage in regular sniping andkilling of Yugoslav border guards,while large numbers of ordinaryAlbanians sought refuge from theirpoverty stricken land by fleeing toYugoslavia and settling where theirAlbanian compatriots lived in theSerbian welfare state of Kosovo.Kosovo Albanians had all the rightsand privileges in Serbia while EnverHoxha had denied them in their owncountry. By contrast, Serbs trappedin Albania were facing extinction andcultural genocide, having no rights asa minority.

The absurd and widely circulatedtheory that Albania could not tolerateSoviet changes after Stalin, had novalidity whatsoever. If that were thecase, this would have been theproblem with all the socialistcountries and parties around theworld, which was not the case. Theproblem was not ideological butracist in nature. Albania accused theSoviets of revisionism, knowing thatStalin had died and no matter whathis successors did, they could notbring him back from the dead. Thatguaranteed that the Soviet Unioncould not be right, no matter what itdid. As dropout of Socialism, EnverHoxha could now ridicule everythingSoviet and his imprisoned Albanianpeople could not compare forthemselves. It is no surprise that

Enver Hoxha fell in love with anotherchauvinistic nationalist leader, MaoTse tung who envied the SovietUnion and its achievements underscientific socialism. Mao had triedthe same, demanding that the SovietUnion help China build the nuclearbomb. He had hoped that withnuclear capability, China couldwrestle socialist leadership awayfrom the USSR. Both, Albania andthe People's Republic of China undertheir leaders, Hovha and Mao,thought that with Soviet aid theycould propel themselves to a statusthey did not deserve. When theytried to go their own way, theircountries degenerated into chaos,poverty and misery. When they failedin socialist reconstruction, theyannihilated or dismissed theircommunist parties and ruled asabsolute monarchs. Theytransformed socialism into a quasireligion, which they imposed on theirmasses. This kind of socialphenomenon is only possible in semifeudal societies where people areused to sultans and emperors withan aura of divine mission. There isabsolutely no doubt that Hoxhawould not have tried his hoax duringStalin's stewardship. Stalin had zerotolerance for traitors and Hoxha andMao had to wait till after his death topursue their racist and chauvinisticdreams. Enver Hoxha died in 1985and his people had to wait for NATOto bomb the Serbs and colonizeKosovo under Albanian terror, just asHitler and Mussolini did beforeearlier.

The answer is very simple! Putinwill again be put in as President bythe powers that support him - thenew multi-billionaires that aregrowing like mushrooms in Russianow.

No amount of strutting on yourhorse will save you, when peoplewake up as to who you really are!

Outside of England's Bristol Zoo isa parking lot for 150 cars and 8buses. For 25 years, its parking feeswere managed by a very pleasantattendant. The fees were $1.40 forcars and $7 for busses.

Then one day, after 25 years ofnever missing a day of work, he justdid not show up. So the ZooManagement called the City Counciland asked them to send themanother parking lot agent.

The City Council did someresearch and replied that the parkinglot was the Zoo's own responsibility.The Zoo stated that the attendantwas a City employee. The CityCouncil responded that the lotattendant had never been on theCity payroll.

Meanwhile sitting in his Villa onthe coast of Spain, is a man who hadticket machine installed completelyon his own; and then began to showup everyday for 25 years,commencing to collect and keep allthe parking fees, estimated at about$650 per day - for 25 years!

This amounted to over $7 milliondollars! And no one even knows hisname or how he looks now!
