Using the Tecco color profiles in Adobe Photoshop To achieve optimal printing results with Tecco color profiles the following settings in Adobe Photoshop and in the printer driver should be used. Information for the seetings in the printer driver can be found on page 3 of this manual.

1 Activating the .icc profile

Before you can use the profile, you have to install it in theoperating system. To activate the profile, hold down the right mouse button and choose Install Profile from the context menu.

2 Printer pre settings

In Photoshop you go to File\Print... Click Page Setup... to select the desired paper size and orienta-tion.

2.1 Printer pre settings in Adobe Photoshop

Configure all settings according to the illustration on the right: Select the Tecco profile as the setting for Printer Profile and the Rendering Intent to Perceptual and activate Black Point Com-pensation.

Advice

All Tecco profiles begin with the letters TC.If the profile does not appear in Adobe Photoshop please reboot Adobe Photoshop.

For the settings in the printer driver please refer to the table on the last page of this manual.

3.1 Color Management settings in the printer driver

Deactivate the color management in the printer driver (no color adjustment).

If you have made all settings you can start printing by clicking OK.

4 Paper Configuration

In some cases you also have to change the color density and the paper thickness, this can be made in the Paper Configuration...

Advice

You can save the settings of the printer driver, this can be made under Custom Settings...
