Using the iOS App Recording and viewing sessions in Panopto can
also be achieved using the Panopto app on an iOS device. In this
self-help document, you will be given a basic overview of how to
use the iOS app.
Downloading the Panopto App 1. Open the iOS app store.

2. To find the Panopto app in the app store, touch the Search
button at the bottom of the screen.

3. Type Panopto in the search field and then touch Panopto in
the search results.

4. To download the Panopto Mobile app, touch the GET button.

5. Touch the INSTALL button and follow the on-screen prompts.
Enter your app store password if requested.

Logging In Once you have downloaded the app and launched it, you
will need to log in with your Blackboard credentials.
1. Touch the Panopto icon to open the app.

2. Under Sign in to Panopto, click the line to enter your email
address.

3. Click Continue on the pop up window.

4. The Sign in screen will appear. Tap the Sign In button.

5. The Blackboard Sign in Screen will appear. Since in with your
Username (NetID) and Password, then click Login.

You will log in to the Homepage view. The menu at the bottom
will show you all your options.

Viewing Panopto Sessions You can view all sessions that your
account has permissions for.
1. Tap the Browse button to view a list of your folders.

2. A list of all recorded sessions will appear. Tap the session
to view the recording.

Making a Recording You can use your iOS device to make a
recording or add a recording to a session.
1. Tap the + button at the bottom of the screen.

2. Tap the Upload and Record option

3. The Upload and Record page will display.

4. Click the Choose video or audio files to choose between
recording on your device or adding a previously recorded video.

5. You will be taken to the camera. If you are recording for the
first time, you will see the following pop up messages, asking for
access to use the Camera and Microphone on the device. Click OK to
allow and record.

6. Once finished, you will be taken back to the Upload and
Record page while the video uploads to Panopto. You can change the
name by double clicking on the video name. Once the video finishes
processing, the recording process is finished.
