History of Quizlet?
Andrew Sutherland – Founder/CTO
In 2005, Andrew’s dad was helping him study for a French test by making note cards. Then the 15 year old thought to himself, “I could build a program/platform which would allow me to make these cards much faster!”
Andrew went on to study at MIT and developed software to help students like himself learn how to study.
Today
¼ of all high school students have used Quizlet
Q has grown from 500 users to over 22 million
Future
Continue to develop Quizlet as an inspiring learning tool based on user feedback and beta testing.
Develop ways to allow for critical thinking in conjunction with Google.
