CO-TEACHING THROUGH SKYPE

I thought that the Skype and the VLOOKUP lesson went well. ……………………  I think that in the future we should do this more often.  This activity let us interact with Ms. Haney and her class rather than just our class.

~Shelby Tart

……. A suggestion would be to have a faster Internet connection. Maybe have the state install a secondary internet connection just for computer classes. Maybe that would help increase connection speeds……….

SHARING GUEST SPEAKERS VIA SKYPE

Using Skype with another class was a cool experience. That is the first time I have ever had the chance to do that.…………~Wesley Barefoot  ………..It was interesting that we could ask questions from where we were sitting to people in a different location…………~Colby Blackman

I personally find Skype very educational and intriguing. It gives us the chance to reach beyond just our class room and interact and learn new teaching methods…………..It also has to do with the curriculum we are studying now with technology and computers.~Nina Gregory

……….I think it’s a new way of learning different things. I liked it because it was new and fresh. Ms. Kyle was the first to do the video out of all my teachers……….. I would love to do this again.~LaTina Harria

GROUP EDITING DOCUMENTS Post Non-Examples… One example is to

post a resume that was incorrect and had students open, correct and then print or email to submit.

Using Non-Examples offers students an opportunity to use their higher-order thinking skills to make concrete skills you are trying to teach.

Using Google Docs to Encourage Participation Teaching students to edit spreadsheets

and enter formulas can be challenging. Opened Googledocs spreadsheet and

invited class to share editing. Students each had an opportunity to

edit document and provide help when someone had trouble.

Enabled leadership abilities and encourage participation.
