Log-in to your Account


Your COL Account

Home page opens


Placing an Order


I prefer to use

the Watch List as

starting point


Click Quotes


then click Watch List


Remember the

watch list from the previous tutorial?


This watch list?


Click on the ticker of

the stock you want to buy or sell


Ex. MBT


This page opens


Click BUY or SELL


This section opens


If you clicked BUY, these

are the default settings


You can change the

settings by clicking the buttons


But for this tutorial,

we will use the default settings


Enter # of Shares

and Price


Net Cost must be lower

than Cash Balance


# of Shares must be a

multiple of the board lot


In other words, shares

are exactly divisible by the board lot


Use Last Price for faster

processing of order


Or Use other amount to

participate in bidding


Click Preview Order


Review your order


Enter password then

click Place Buy Order


Order Confirmed


If executed the

shares are added

to your portfolio


Procedure for

Selling is very much

the same


Just click the SELL

Button and follow the

same steps


You can sell a portion

or all your Stock Position
