Migration from South to North ?

Source: Trends in International Migrant Stock: The 2015 Revision

International migrant stock, 2015 (in millions)

South to South migration has overtaken South to North Migration

Population censuses allow to produce highly comparable global indicator on international migration (migrant stock)

Significantly untapped potential for analysis when properly disaggregated (age, sex, country of birth/citizenship, level of education, occupation etc.)

Scope for data exchange by country of birth/citizenship (diaspora profiles)

Ensure data availability from 2020 round of population and housing censuses
