3. Instruction of Installation and Uninstallation drivers

3.1 Installation drivers

This is the instruction of installing driver. First of all , all the examples of the instruction are based on

ubuntu10.10(kernel : 2.6.35-22-generic), the driver version was ZTE_driver_install_V3.1.run

and it was put in /usr/src/, Of cause, you can put it in other path where you want to .

Now, You can use the driver easily by the following steps:

3.1.1 Be sure of logining with root account in terminal.

3.1.2 copy the driver to your operating system file path and run the command cd

/the package directory,such as /usr/src in the example.

3.1.3 chmod 777 ZTE_driver_install_V3.1.run

3.1.4 ./ZTE_driver_install_V3.1.run

Now the driver was installed properly.

3.2 Uninstallation drivers

3.2.1 Be sure of logining with root account in terminal.

3.2.2 run the command cd /the package directory, such as /usr/src in the example.

3.2.3 chmod 777 driver_uninstall.sh

3.2.4 ./ driver_uninstall.sh

Now the driver was uninstalled completely.

Tips: If you have uninstalled driver or it does not install before, after you run

the ./driver_uninstall.sh may show you as follow:
