RibbonBarTheRibbonappearsbelowtheWorkspacetabs.Itdisplaysbuttonsthatchangeaccordingtowhichtabyouhaveselected.SeethehelppagesforeachWorkspaceTab(detailedabove)forinformationabouttheRibbonBarbuttonsuniquetoeachtab.SidebarAsyouselectRibbonbuttonsforthedifferentWorkspaceTabs,optionsforthebuttonmayappearintheSidebaralongtherightsideofthescreen.TheSidebaralsohasitsowntabs,dependingonwhatisloadedintotheworkspace.Forexample,ifadesignorgroupofdesignsisintheworkspace,therewillbeatabforDesignorGroup.Quick-AccessToolbarTheQuick-AccessToolbarisacustomizabletoolbar.Includebuttonstoaccessyourmost-usedfunctionswithinPro-Stitcher.ThistablesummarizesthedefaultbuttonsontheQuick-AccessToolbar.IfyouwouldlikedifferentbuttonsontheQuick-AccessToolbar,seeToCustomizetheQuick-AccessToolbar.
Undo:UsetheUndobuttontoundothelastfunctionperformed.ContinueselectingUndoasneededtogetthedesignbacktowhereyouwantit.
Redo:IfyouchangeyourmindaboutthelastUndoaction,selecttheRedobutton.
Baseline:UsetheBaselinebuttonto"freeze"themodificationsyouhavemadetothedesign. Allmodificationsafteryoubaselinetreatthedesignasanew,unaltereddesign.However,baselinedoesnotsavethedesigntoyourcomputer.
Rulers:Selecttohideorshowtheworkspacetopandsiderulers.ThisbuttonmaybeaddedtotheQuick-Accesstoolbartoquicklyturnonorofftherulers.
Follow:SelectFollowwhenyouwanttoensurethatthecrosshairsremaininviewwhenyouhavezoomedadesign.ThissavesyoufromhavingtousePantofindthecrosshairs.Itisalsohelpfultoenablewhenyoustitchawidedesignbecauseyoucanbothzoominonthedesignandseewhatisbeingstitchedonthescreen.
Drag:SelecttheDragbuttonandthenusethemachinetomovetheneedle(representedbythecrosshairs)tothedesiredlocation.TheDragbuttonbecomesaDropbutton.Whenthemachineisinposition,touchtheDropbutton.

Grid:Selecttohideorshowtheworkspacegrid.
Measure:UseMeasuretomeasuredistancesinadesignordirectlyonthequilt.FormoreinformationseetheMeasurehelptopic.
HorizontalChannelLock:SelectHorizontaltolockPro-Stitchersoitstitchesonlyinahorizontaldirection.PresstheStart/Stopbuttononthemachine’shandlebarsandmovethemachinetostitchthelineinaleft-to-rightorright-to-leftdirection.
VerticalChannelLock:SelectVerticaltolockPro-Stitchersoitstitchesonlyinaverticaldirection.PresstheStop/Startbuttonthemachine’shandlebarsandmovethemachinetostitchthelineinatop-to-bottomorbottom-to-topdirection.
WorkspaceToolbarTheWorkspaceToolbarisalwaysvisibleandprovideseasyaccesstotoolsyou'lluseforinteractingwithobjects,suchasdigitaldesignsandareas,onthePro-StitcherWorkspace.
Pan
Pan:UsePantomovewhatyouseeontheworkspace.Pandoesnotrepositionthedesignrelativetothequilt.
• SelectPanandthendragyourfingeracrossthescreen.Thecurrentviewmoveswiththemovementofyourfinger.
Zoom:UseZoomtoviewasectionofthedesignlargerorsmaller.Zoomdoesnotrepositionorresizethedesign.Ifyouhavegridlinesdisplayedon-screen,you’llseethegridlinesalsoshrinkorgrowasyouzoomthedesign.
• Tozoomintoanarea,selectZoom.Thenuseyourfingertodrawaboxaroundtheareayou'dliketoseelarger.SeealsotheZoomInandZoomOutbuttonsbelowintheStatusBar.
Select:TouchtheSelectbuttonintheWorkspacetoolbar,thentouchadesigntoselectit.Amessagescrollsontherightsideofthescreentoindicatethatthedesignisselected.Ifitwasalreadyselected,touchingthedesigndeselectsit.Aselecteddesignappearsdarkeronthescreenthananyunselecteddesigns.YoucanalsouseyourfingertodrawamarqueeboxonthescreenaftertouchingtheSelectbutton.Anydesignsthatoverlapwiththemarqueeboxwillbeselected.

XForm(Transform):YoucanusetheTransform(XForm)featuretomanuallyrotateorresizeadesignorarea.SelectthedesignorareaandthenselectXForm.Handleswillformaroundtheobject.Useyourfingeronthehandlestoresize.Useyourfingertodragthedesignaroundtheworkspace.Oruseyourfingerontheroundhandle(abovetheupperrightcorner)torotatethedesign.TouchXFormtoturnoffthehandles.SeealsoToManuallyRotateaDesign.
Simulate:IfyouarerunninginSimulationmode,theSimulatebuttonwillbeintheWorkspaceToolbarsoyoumayquicklyswitchbetweennormaloperationandSimulationmode.
StatusPanelThistablesummarizesthebuttonsintheStatusBar.
SelectAll:Usethisbuttontoselectalldesignsintheworkspace.
MultiSelect:Usethisbuttontoselectdesignsoneatatime.Selectthebuttonandthentouchthedesignsyouwanttoselect.
SelectNone:Usethisbuttontocancelanyselectionsyouhavemade.
ZoomtoDesign:Zoomsthedesigntocompletelyfilltheworkspace.
ZoomtoArea:Zoomstheareatocompletelyfilltheworkspace.
Refresh:Centersthedesign,area,andcrosshairssobotharevisibleonthescreen.Refreshdoesnotrepositionthedesignrelativetothequilt.Torepositionadesign,seeRepositioningDesigns.
Zoomin:Enlargesthedesignonthescreen,butdoesnotchangethesizeofthedesignwhenitisquilted.Tochangethesizeofthedesign,seeResizingDesigns.
Zoomout:Shrinksthedesignonthescreen,butdoesnotchangethesizeofthedesignwhenitisquilted.Tochangethesizeofthedesign,seeResizingDesigns.

TheBoundingBox:Ifyouhaveadesignloaded,theouterdimensionsofthedesignareaissurroundedbyablueboundingbox.Ifyouhavedefinedanarea,theouterdimensionsoftheareaissurroundedbyapinkboundingbox. YoucanturnoffthedesignandareaboundingboxesbyselectingViewTab>Bounds. MeasuringtheDesignorQuiltYoucanusethemachinetomeasuredifferentregionsofthequilt.
1. Movethemachinesothecrosshairs,ortheneedleposition,areatthestartingpoint,orzerocoordinate,ofthesectiontobemeasured.
2. PressMeasureandmovethemachinetobeginmeasuring.Therulergivesyouthedistanceinthehorizontal(x)andthevertical(y)directions,aswellasthedirectangulardistance.Intheexamplebelow,themeasurementwasfromtheupperleftcornertothelowerrightcorner,or5incheswide(X)by5incheshigh(Y),and7.07inchesfromcornertocorner.
3. PressMeasureagaintoturnoffthemeasurement.Toresetthemeasurementstartingpoint,pressMeasuretoturnitoffandthenturnitbackonafteryouhavemovedthecrosshairstowhereyouwanttoagainbeginmeasuring.

MachineQuiltingTip:Tomeasureadimensionlonger thantheavailablequiltingspace
PositionthecrosshairsandpressMeasure.Measureasfaronthequiltasyoucanandmarkwhereyouendedwithapin.Enterthemeasurementintothecalculatoronyourquiltingmachine.PressMeasureagaintoturnitoff.Advancethequilt,makingsurethepinisstillvisible.PressMeasureandmeasurethenextsegment,andusethecalculatortoaddthismeasurement. Toselectadesign
Aselecteddesignappearsdarkeronthescreenthananyunselecteddesigns.
Select:TouchtheSelectbuttonintheWorkspacetoolbar,thentouchadesigntoselectit.Amessagescrollsontherightsideofthescreentoindicatethatthedesignisselected.Ifitwasalreadyselected,touchingthedesigndeselectsit.YoucanalsouseyourfingertodrawamarqueeboxonthescreenaftertouchingtheSelectbutton.Anydesignsthatoverlapwiththemarqueeboxwillbeselected.
Toselectmultipledesigns• TouchtheSelectbuttonintheWorkspacetoolbar.Thenuseyour

6. RemovetheUSBdrivefromtheWindowscomputerandinsertitintothePro-Stitchertabletcomputerthatisattachedtothequiltingmachine’scarriage.
7. OnthePro-Stitchertablet,selectSettings>Advanced>General.ThenselectCreateSimulationLicense.
8. WhenyoureceivethemessageLicensefilewritten,selectOK.RemovetheUSBdrive.
