Go to the Dashboard: For subsequent instructions, such as changing settings, navigation to and from the NS8 Dashboard may be required. Follow these simple steps to get to the NS8 Dashboard inside of the WordPress Admin.

Navigate to the NS8 DashboardClick on or expand the NS8 menu on the navigation sidebar inside the WordPress/WooCommerce admin.

The NS8 Dashboard: The NS8 Dashboard gives a store admin an overview of their store’s recent performance and suspect activity.

Average EQ8 ScoreDisplays the average EQ8 score of your website’s traffic over the last 24 hours. A score above 700 is desired.

Low Quality CampaignsThis section lists the advertising campaigns that brought in the lowest quality traffic over the last 24 hours.

Retargeting SavingsAn estimate of advertising dollars saved by preventing suspect users from being tagged for remarketing.

Suspicious SessionsDisplays the total number and the percentage of suspicious sessions from the last 24 hours.

Latest Suspicious OrdersThis section lists the most recent orders flagged as suspicious by either scoring below the EQ8 score threshold or by violating an order rule.

Monitors StatusDisplays the current status of CSP’s five monitors. A score of less than 100% means that one or more monitors is reporting a failure.

Suspicious Orders Displays the total number of recent suspicious orders.

Fraud IndicatorsDisplays suspect activity and flagged indicators of fraud over the last 24 hours. Next: Navigate to the

Settings - Suspicious Users Threshold: Navigation to and from the NS8 Dashboard is required for these instructions. See page 3 for instructions on navigating to the NS8 Dashboard.

Some industries attract more fraud than others. That is why NS8 CSP offers each store the ability to set its own threshold to determine when a user is considered suspect or not.

Suspicious users will lower the EQ8 Score of advertising campaigns they are a part of, and they can be blocked from remarketing.

Navigate to SettingsNavigate to Settings from the Settings dropdown, located at the top right of the NS8 Dashboard.

Set Your Custom ThresholdAdjust the slider to set your store’s custom threshold for valid and suspicious users. The settings are automatically saved. The default value is 100.

Settings - Suspicious Order Threshold: Navigation to and from the NS8 Dashboard is required for these instructions. See page 3 for instructions on navigating to the NS8 CSP Dashboard.

NS8 CSP scores every user and every order for fraud. Orders that receive low scores, or orders placed by users with low scores, are flagged for investigation. The flags appear in the NS8 Protect Dashboard as well as WooCommerce’s default order queue.

Store administrators can set a custom EQ8 Score threshold to determine when an order is flagged.

Navigate to SettingsNavigate to Settings from the Settings dropdown, located at the top right of the NS8 Dashboard.

Turn on Suspicious Order FlaggingToggle the switch located in the top left corner of the Suspicious Order section. This preference will automatically be saved.

Settings - Auto SMS Verification:The store administrator can choose to automatically send an SMS verification request for orders suspected of being fraudulent. Follow these steps to activate Auto SMS Verification.

Navigate to SettingsNavigate to Settings from the Settings dropdown, located at the top right of the NS8 Dashboard. Scroll down the Settings page to find the SMS Verification section.

Turn on SMS VerificationToggle the switch located in the top left corner of the SMS Verification section. This preference will automatically be saved.

Optional: Enter a Custom Subject Line%%STORE NAME%% will automatically populate your store’s name. However, any custom text can be used.

Optional: Enter a Custom MessageThis message will appear before the verification link that the suspicious user will be asked follow. Any custom text can be used.

Order Escalation:A store administrator can choose to manually send a SMS verification request for any pending order.

Locate the NS8 StatusThe NS8 Status can be found appended to WooCommerce’s default order page in the last column. Click the NS8 Status to view the scoring and order details.

Review Red FlagsIf a suspect order is scored for a high risk of fraud, the store administrator can weigh the red flags in their decision to escalate an order or not.

Request SMS VerificationFrom the NS8 Order review page, the store operator can choose to escalate a suspicious order with SMS verification. Click the SMS Verify button to start the escalation process.
