Terminology Used: LOV: This system provides LOV (List of Values) to minimize erroneous data entry and
facilitate rapid entry of values. Navigate to a form field and use keyboard shortcut Ctrl+L
to display the LOV for that field. When you click on a LOV field, it will show three dots at
right corner.
Service Request: The Service Request is the Service Customer is asking for. One
application / transaction will be processed through one Service Request. The Service
Request will be processed through multiple departments until the Compliant / Query is
settled.
Note: A Note is an item that is used to enter free text on the Applications. Notes are
typically use to capture descriptive information and can be shared or kept private.
SR Number: It is the Service Request Number generated automatically by the system
as master reference number for the user request and to follow-up with Muscat
municipality services by service request number inquiry.
Customers Type: There are many time of Muscat Municipality customers how can
register by isupport site as below
• not Organization– Company Not–with civil ID : )Person(Individual user
• he is registering : )organization/on behave of company(:Business user
him self as one of the users for the registered company (exists in Muscat
Municipality records) and he will be able to inquiry and create Service
requests for this organization after getting approval.
The type of Organizations are:
AG (Agreement)
CV (Person)
CR(Commercial)
EM(Embassy)
FC(Foreign Company)
GV(Government)

HT(Heritage)
PR(Profession)
• he is registering him ): organization/on behave of company: (Primary User
self as one of the primary users for the registered company (exists in Muscat
Municipality records) and he will be able to inquiry and create Service
requests for this organization, also he can approve the pending requests for
new registration users in his company rather than MM after approval
Note: In case of Confusing or could not get the right
organization Id please contact Muscat municipality.

1 Login to System:
1. ISupport system can be accessed using the URL provided below (IE 7 or higher
recommended). You can change the language by clicking on Arabic or English link.

2. To access the system you need to enter the user name and password then press Go
button:

2 User Registration:
A. For Individual User Registration:
You have to enter the detail then enter the user login name & Password as shown:
You will get the Confirmation Page as shown below:

For all Previous Registration Types, you have to wait for Admin confirmation to be
able to access & login into the system.

3 Creating Relations
Once the user is registered and logged in, the user can be related to a company. The same
can be achieved by clicking the link ‘Create Relations - Companies’ under ‘Relations’ menu of the home page as shown below:

On clicking the ‘Create Relations – Companies’ link, the following page will be shown:

Company Number and Relation Privilege needs to be entered before clicking on the ‘Next’
Button. On entering the company number, the company name is automatically displayed. On
clicking Next, user shall be displayed all the licenses related to the company

4 Pages Features:
1. You will see the main page, which display the Service Requests Created for the customer, The External Enquiries, The Internal Enquiries, Create Service Requests,
Payment Process and Account detail.
A. After Login Screen, You can see the general queries which is accessible without login
(will be explained later).
B. Main Page, Service Request tab
You can see the Service Request Type, service request Status, and other detail by
clicking on the service request number hyper link.

C. Account Tab
IT display the invoices issued for the same customer related to the service requests
issued.
The user can pay online using Ipayment system by clicking on the invoice number
link to process with ipayment (the payment process explained in ipayment document).
D. Service Request Detail
By clicking on the Service Request number (SR number), it will display the Service
Request Detail including the status, SR type and subjects
It will also display the Invoice Number incase of status is Pending Payment.

By Clicking on invoice number, You can see the Invoice Detail and to processed with
Payment Process (using ipayment).

5 External Enquiry:
A. Outside External Enquiry
Clicking on Parking Violations Payments link will take user directly to the “Parking
Violation” page without the need of logging in. A new page is displayed where user
can make the violation payment. Screen appears as below:

User should enter Vehicle Category, Plate Code and Plate Number; or Violation Number
and then click on Search Button. User cannot search violations by selecting all four
fields.

If no records are fetched for the searched criteria, a message is displayed as shown below:

At any point of time, user can reset the page by clicking on the “Reset” button. On
resetting, the searched information displayed i.e. vehicle details and violation details will
be removed from the screen.

If records exist for the searched criteria, both vehicle details and violation details shall be
presented separately as shown below:

Vehicle Details displays the following information:
• Sr. No.: Serial Number which helps to quickly identify as to how many
vehicle records are being displayed. • Plate No.: Displays the vehicle number which user has entered in the search criteria
and for which violation record is found.
• Plate Type: Displays the vehicle category which user has selected in the search
criteria and for which violation record is found.
• Plate Code: Displays the vehicle code which user has selected in the search criteria
and for which violation record is found. • Vehicle Model
• Vehicle Sub Model
• Total Number of Violations: This will initially display zero. But changes when user
selects/unselects violation from the Violation Details table. For example: if user has
selected one violation for a vehicle, this column will display “1”. Helps to easily identify the total number of violations payable against a particular vehicle.
• Total Violations Amount: This will initially display zero. But changes when user
selects/unselects violation from the Violation Details table. Helps to easily identify the total violation amount payable against a particular vehicle.

Violation Details displays the following information:
• Sr. No.: Serial Number which helps to quickly identify as to how many
violation records are being displayed. • Violation No.: Displays a unique violation number against the violation made.
• Plate Type: Displays the vehicle category of the vehicle subject to violation.
• Plate No.: Displays the vehicle number of the vehicle subject to violation.
• Plate Code: Displays the vehicle code of the vehicle subject to violation.
• Vehicle Model:
• Vehicle Sub Model:
• Violation Type: Displays the type of violation.
• Area: Displays the area where the violation has happened.
• Date: Displays the date when the violation has happened.
• Time: Displays the time when the violation has happened.
• Violation Status: Displays the current status of the violation. It will display only those
violations which are of “Open” status.
On clicking the “Pay” button, user will be displayed a pop-up payment page as shown
below:

Once the payment is complete, user is redirected to the “Parking Permissions &
Violations” page again. User will be able to see the violations status (open, closed,
pending payment) through the “Parking Permissions & Violations” link from the login
page.

B. Inside External Enquiry
It’s same the outside external queries but its available also after login.
1- Search for Application Status
On clicking the Search for Application Status link under General Queries
menu, the following page is displayed where user has to enter the service
number:

After entering the service request the user should click on “Next” button, it
will display the Application detail & status:

6 Internal Enquiries:
It display the internal enquiries related to the customer or organization id only.

Parking Violation Payment
When clicking this link, a new page is displayed where Customer Type has to
be selected. Screen appears as below:
After selecting the customer type, click on “Next” button. A new page
is displayed where user can make the violation payment. Screen appears as
below:

7 Create Service Requests:
There are many services available on Web base for customer use, some of them full cycle use at one time by the customer only.
But the most Service Requests are asking for user interaction after creation of the
service request done by the customer.
The Full cycle requests like Renew Parking permission, where the customer can enter the car/renew detail then processed for payment without waiting the Muscat
municipality user.
The other request which needs municipality users checks and enters some additional
details to proceed with it, all according to the Service Request case.
You will need to select the type of service request under Service Request
Details menu.

7.1 ParkingViolation
For instance on selecting Individual Request, the user will be shown the following page:

All Requests tab, displays list of service requests that has been generated by the user.

For creating service request click on Create Requests tab.

Select service type as “Parking Violations & Payments” to search and pay for parking violations.
In case, user has clicked on “Companies Request” link under the Service Requests menu
appearing in the Home Page, the user will be shown the following page:
On selecting the organization name and account number, the system will display the
account name.

Then as per the requirement, select one of the service types from the Create Requests tab.
Select Parking Permissions & Violations from the list.
On selecting “Parking Permissions & Violations” the following sub services will appear:

7.1.1 PV: Payment
Allows the logged in user with the following functionality:
• Search for Parking Violation based on the following search criteria: o Violation Number, OR
o Vehicle Category, Plate Code and Plate Number.

User should enter Vehicle Category, Plate Code and Plate Number; or Violation Number
and then click on Search Button. User cannot search violations by selecting all four
fields. If no records are fetched for the searched criteria, a message is displayed as shown
below:
