1. ProblemFor Master data replication from ERP system to CRM system, organizational structure has to be either replicated from ECC to CRM(This replication is one time activity which cannot be done twice) or should be created manually as per customer requirement , there was a situation where some combinations of ( Sales Organization, Sales Office, Sales Group, Distribution Channel, Divisions) were not replicated ,as a result of that Business Partners were not replicated because of the missing sales areas. Due to this we have to replicate the Org structure once again. To perform this activity we need to delete the existing customers, contact persons, products and org structure and then update the buffers and then recreate the Org structure.

This document will help the Middleware consultants to delete the Org structure and update the buffers for recreation Org structure.

2. DescriptionThis document is a short guide for the Middleware consultants to delete the Org structure and update the buffer to recreate the Org Structure.

3. Situations ApplicableDuring Master data download of Business Partners and Materials.

4. SolutionsIn order to replicate Business Partners whose sales area data in not maintained in the CRM

system the following activities needs to be performed.1. Deletion of transaction data associated with business partners like (sales orders,

opportunities etc)2. Deletion of marketing attributes associated with the business partner.3. Deletion of contact persons and products.

After performing the above mentioned activities we need to delete the replicated org structure.

5. Steps to be followed

Step 1: To Delete the Org structure go to T Code SE38 and choose Program rhrhdl00 and click execute button (F8)


Step 2: Delete (O-S-P) Internal persons per organizational unit with the parameters specified below.

Plan Version: 01

Object Type: O

Evaluation Path: O-S-P

Uncheck the checkbox Test.



Step 3: Choose Execute (F8)


Choose YES

Step 4:

If objects were deleted, then the result screen specifies entries which were deleted.

STEP 5: Change the parameters to delete the job level.

Plan Version: 01

Object Type: C

Evaluation Path: C_S_O





Choose YES

Step 7: If objects were deleted, then the result screen specifies entries which were deleted.


Step 8: Change the parameters to delete the position

Plan Version: 01

Object Type: S

Evaluation Path: S-O






Choose YES.

Step 10: If objects were deleted, then the result screen specifies entries which were deleted.

Step 11: Please, maintain table T77OMATTR in TCODE SM30 and flag the buffer field for Sales and Service scenarios.

We do this activity to buffer the data.



Step 12: Once the Buffering is done, run the report (HRBCI_ATTRIBUTES_BUFFER_UPDATE) to delete all the Buffers Filed.

Choose F8

Step 15: Delete the Business Partners

TCODE: SE38

Program Name: bupa_test_delete


Choose F8

Step 16: Provide the Number Range to Delete. Make sure to run in TEST Mode,

To Find out No of Entries

GOTO TCODE: SE16 and enter the table name BUT000 and find the no of entries and then select the number range to delete the customers.



Test run indicates Business Partners can be deleted are not.


Step 17: Choose back (F3) and Uncheck the Checkbox Test Run and click F8

Choose Yes



Step 18:

After performing the above mentioned steps there are times the replicated org entries are not available for replication. To make it available the below mentioned report needs to be created and executed.

Make sure that there should not be any entries under the generated org structure. To find the whether the entries are generated earlier refer the below mentioned SPRO


REPORT ZCRM_ORGMAN_R3_ORGDATA_DEL.

DATA: lv_answer TYPE char1.

START-OF-SELECTION.

* popup to confirm

CALL FUNCTION 'POPUP_TO_CONFIRM_STEP'

EXPORTING

defaultoption = 'N'

titel = text-001

textline1 = text-002

IMPORTING

answer = lv_answer.

* refresh buffer

IF lv_answer = 'J'.

DELETE FROM DATABASE indx(st) ID 'KEY'.

ENDIF.



After creating and running the above mentioned report the entries marked in the red color in the below screen shot would be available for replication again. It’s mandatory to create and run the report to make sure that all the combinations are available for replicating the org structure.
