The use of fertilizers in all parts of the world is a common
theme recently, especially in those developed countries. However,
Colombia although not a very developed country has made great use
of such tools to improve agriculture in different regions.
Antioquia is one of the most productive areas of the country, so
their use of fertilizers in the last years has increased
significantly, some of the areas of increased fertilizer use in
Antioquia are Santa Elena, La Ceja, Rionegro and other
municipalities. However, the increasing use of fertilizers has led
to an endless number of impacts on the development of agricultural
activities and the environment.
