1. References:

c. ER 385-1-80, Ionizing Radiation Protection, 30 Jun 2010

2. In accordance with the provisions of these references, you are hereby appointed as the Radiation Safety Officer for the ERDC, Vicksburg site.

3. Responsibilities: To ensure compliance with the requirements of all applicable Federal, Army, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, state and local regulations concerning the safe use of radioactive materials or radiation generating devices.

3. Special instructions: Any work associated with radiation safety matters, including any applications, renewals, amendments and terminations of Nuclear Regulatory Commission licenses should be coordinated through the ERDC Safety and Environmental Management Office.

5. This appointment remains in effect until rescinded.
