Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program • Non-degree grants to senior researchers,

university lecturers, or experts in different fields

• Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent professional experience

• Scholars conduct independent research in the United States

Fulbright Faculty Development Program • Provides junior university professors a chance

to explore curriculum development OR teaching methodology in the United States

• Applicants must have at least two years of professional experience

• No graduate degree needed

Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program

• A one-year, full scholarship offered to mid-career professionals for independent study at one of the leading universities in the United States.

• Applicants must have a proven record of leadership, public service commitment, and the capacity to take full advantage of a self-defined program.

• Candidates compete with those from other countries

General Qualifications

Citizenship of the Republic of Moldova and permanent residency (all TN residents eligible)

Proficiency in written and spoken English (test required for some)

Eligibility for a U.S. J-1 visa

For the Fulbright Scholar Program, a Ph.D. or equivalent professional Experience

For Fulbright Faculty Development Program, applicants must have at least two years of university teaching experience

For Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship, applicants must have a degree and at least five years of substantial professional experience

What do the programs provide?
