UrbanSitter Profiles will Include CareAcademy Course Completions
Cambridge, MA (September 28, 2015) CareAcademy, an online service that provides professional courses and certification for nannies and caregivers, and UrbanSitter, an online service for parents and babysitters to connect through people they know, today announced that CareAcademy’s training and certification program will be made available as an educational resource for UrbanSitters. Beginning today, UrbanSitter’s caregivers will be notified that they may pursue professional training in a range of topics, from interview skills to administering lifesaving medications, through the CareAcademy website. Once a babysitter has completed a course, the credentials will be shown as a badge on his or her UrbanSitter profile for parents to review, enabling them to make informed choices about caregivers. “This is really exciting news for us at CareAcademy.
