Electrical Insulating Mats (as per IS 15652:2006)

Diamond Design

Electrical Insulating Mats are generally used for covering the fl oor below the control panels. Our Mats are manufactured as per latest Indian Standard i.e IS 15652:2006. It is mainly used for safety of workers while installing and operating electrical equip-ment because of possibility of leakage of current.

Th ese are manufactured using elastomer (latex, rubber and elastomeric compounds that might be natural, synthetic or mixture of both) all along with anti- skid aberrations on the top to avoid slippage and smooth lower surface. It is available in 2mm, 2.5mm & 3.0mm thickness depending upon the working/use voltage. Manufacturer’s Test Certifi cate is provided along with the supply.

Fluted Design

“DURATUF” is a premium brand for Rubber Mat as per IS 5424:1969. It is highly recommended for the safety of the workmen against the electrical hazards. Th ese mats are highly economical and suitable for general use also. However, we recommend use of insulating mats as per latest Indian Standard i.e IS 15652:2006 for electrical insulation.

Th e material are made out of natural rubber having good electrical resistance and mechanical properties. Th ey are available from 6mm to 25mm thickness in standard size of 1M x 2M with Checkered or Fluted Design. Manufacturer’s Test Certifi cate is provided along with the supply.

Th e insulation mats are manufactured as per the IEC 61111:2009 standard set by the International Electrotechnical Com-mission and are highly electrical resistant. Th ese non-conductive mats insulate and protect from mortal shocks generated by high voltage equipment.

We recommend thickness from 2mm to 4mm (higher thickness also available) depending on use/working voltage resist-ance with anti-skid textured surface on top and smooth lower surface. Th ese are leakage, moisture and water proof that guarantee long functional life. Th ey are also fi re, oil and acid resistant. Manufacturer’s Test Certifi cate is provided along with the supply.

Th ese non-conductive mats insulate and protect from mortal shocks generated by high voltage equipment.

Th e standard recommends thickness from 3.2mm to 12.7mm depending on use/working voltage resistance with anti-skid textured surface on top and smooth lower surface. Th ese (Type-I grade) are leakage, moisture and water proof that guarantee long functional life. Type-II grade off ers additional properties such as ozone, fl ame and oil resistance. Manufacturer’s Test Cer-tifi cate is provided along with the supply.
