uniform cross section in the middle and variable

cross section at both ends. It is welded by using

steel pipes, and the end and bottom of the jib

frame are reinforced by steel plate so as to

transfer load.

The length of basic jib is 24m (78’9”) (jib tip

9m×1 (29’6”×1), jib base 9m×1 (29’6”×1), and

transition insert 6m×1 (19’8”×1)), and jib inserts

(6m×1 (19’8”×1) and 12m×3 (39’4”×3)) can be

installed on the main boom with a length of

24m~66m (78’9”~216’6”). Available jib features

a length of 24m~66m (78’9”~216’6”).

Aux. luffing is achieved by virtue of Aux. luffing

mast and fixed mast. The mast is a spatial

variable cross section truss structure with

smaller cross sections at both ends and larger

cross section in the middle. The fixed mast

features a length of 14m (45’11”), while the

Assembling Mode/Operating

Mode Switch

Under assembling mode, the anti-over-winding

device, boom limit device and load moment

indicator are inactivated in order for crane

assembling.

Under operating mode, all safety devices are

activated.

Limit Device of Boom

When main boom operating condition or when

the elevation angle of main boom is over 87°

under luffing jib operating condition,

corresponding limit switches will actuate to

facilitate the buzzer to send an alarm, and the

boom shall be stopped automatically. At this

time, the hoisting operation of main luffing drum

is inactivated, but the lowering operation of

main luffing drum can be achieved.

When the included angle between luffing jib

and main boom is less than 8°, corresponding

limit switches will actuate to facilitate the buzzer

to send an alarm. At this time, the hoisting

operation of aux. luffing drum is inactivated, but

the lowering operation of aux. luffing drum can

be achieved.

Under luffing jib operating condition, when the

included angle between the main boom and

horizontal direction is less than 65° and the jib

angle less than 12°, the operating will be limited.

This protection function is automatically

controlled by load moment indicator and

proximity switch.

Anti-back-tipping Device of

Boom

When the main boom is tipping back, the high

pressure of anti-back-tipping oil cylinder shall

be overcome. When the boom lowers down,

the hydraulic system will automatically refill the

high pressure oil and tension the guy rod of

boom to prevent the boom from vibrating and

tipping back during the operating process.

Jib fixing mast is equipped with a pair of

anti-back-tipping devices for oil cylinder, while

aux. luffing mast is equipped with a pair of oil

cylinders to prevent the mast from tipping back

and to tighten the wire rope of aux. luffing.

When the angle between the jib and the

horizontal direction reaches to 79°, mechanical

anti-back-tipping device shall be activated to

prevent the jib from tipping back.
